The BIGGEST feature for me with the 450x is the 50:50 weight distribution between front and back wheels. That is why it handles so well even at aggressive speeds. It would be impossible to achieve this ratio with this Rizta design, but if they have, then hats off to Ather.

I liked the ather Built philosophy. Thank God they opted for body mid mounted motor instead of Hub motor. Hub motor like in S1, iqube & many others are prone to water ingress specially in indian Pothole filled roads in rainy season. Few urban & most country-side folks put LPG gas cylinder on front boot space. Well most ICE mopeds like my Activa-125 don't bother it all, does ather rizta will mind it? As their batteries are placed in front boot space areas. I hope their design people might have considered this aspect. I wish Ather people best of luck. Thanks for making such great video

for me who live in hilly area, ather is the only usable EV scooter, i like the gear reduction system. I wish they provide optional lower gear for better gradeability. I don't mind having 60kmph top speed if it can climb 30° inclined.

Ather launched before Ola in India and still after a couple of years the company has failed to cover India which is highly disappointing as an EV company forget about the charging network. Soon Honda will start selling their electric scooters in India in the existing showroom and service network and that day will be the beginning of the end of Ather and Ola. Both these startups will die a slow and painful death. Both Ather and Ola have failed to monetize on the first mover advantage and have failed to expand at that scale. They have even failed to build that level of trust which ICE engine companies enjoy, these will eventually lead to their downfall once major players like Honda , Suzuki, Yamaha etc start bringing their EV scooters to India.

Great video as always! Heres my personal take on upcoming two wheelers: The thing about two wheelers is, they have been getting larger and larger for not much reason. Look at the new scooters and bikes, many of them are becoming so wide that its hard to fit them in small places between two cars... Meanwhile smaller models like pep are being discontinued. Large, sloping seats are rather uncomfortable and the rear passenger keeps slipping. The extra size does not add extra functionality or luggage space, its just more fiber/plastic/low strength metal parts. Why are they trying to make it look like SUV😅 Am i the only one with this observation... Finally, few years from now i wont be surprised if some scooter/bike looks larger than nano 😂

I'm not expert on this but is it possible to compare Activa and Rizta? In terms of innovation, speed of innovation, technology, etc. Activa and Scorpio released somewhat similar era, today Scorpio is exported to other continent, also it is compared against Fortuner. Why Activa is so conservative? They still offer drum brakes. Is Activa really worth for what it's offering today? Ather is relatively very new Automobile company yet they achieved excellent feat, why Honda India is struggling to even keep up with competitors?

@@GareebScientist I have TVS Jupitor 125 (2022)model and it fits 2 helmets..It's the biggest advantage over any other ice engine vehicle when buying. Even I can fit an egg tray inside. I don't have to carry bag anymore. This should be provided inside Rizta, we can definitely trust Ather if we consider An ev. ❤️

The helmet would have be a steal either if the had ece 22.06 certification or have launched the intercom as a separate accessory. Ather as a tech first company is really missing the point by launching a helmet. I get vertical integration but ISI or DOT only for a 15k helmet is absurd. You can buy a LS2 for that price and that comes with ISI, DOT, ECE 22.06 & Snell

Whatever they Say. Ather is very smart at selling Spares and Accessories. Just look at the terms and condition Whole Scooter Rizta, is having warranty of 3 years. but on belt they give warranty only for 1 year. They know its going to break within 1 year or around. I am away from such EV Scooter which requires belt maintenance every 1 to 2 years and cost of replacement is 5500+ Installation charges. Better to buy Gearbox EV's like Vida or bajaj.

First time kisine ache insights diye. 450S se compare karo to bohot sare cost reductions hue hain in rizta s still it's priced same as 450s I was about to book last month price on road in Pune was 1.3lac and now for rizta considering compromises price should be around 1lac and for S version pro pack should be given free as there are not much features in S. Except pricing everything looks fine. Once big brands like Honda Yamaha will come in EV market ather will shut down permanently if they don't reduce their profit margins on sales and service!
