Literally just bought my first Honda today. Came home and was searching YT for videos about the features. Learned a lot from this video. It wasn’t mentioned but I hope most of these features and controls can only be “played with” while the vehicle is in park. Phones are problematic enough these days. We don’t need drivers being even more distracted and crashing because they were trying to change their LCD wallpaper while doing 70 on the interstate.

Which will force me double check the vehicle. Thanks again for the help.

He said the beeps will indicate that it's going to lock. The second beep locks the doors. If u have it set in the settings it will do it everytime. He had the windows rolled down and it still locked the doors. Not that there is much of a point in them being locked with the windows down. But he says it activates the alarm system so if some tries to go in the alarm will go off

2:09 This windows down with 2nd press of the key is not a feature - IT IS A LIABILITY!!! The Honda key is made in such a way that the remote buttons are large and convex. When placed in in the pants pocket, it's very easy to hit the right sequence to roll the windows down without knowing. Imagine the car parked on a busy street, or in an inner city neighborhood, the contents would be pilfered before you realize it. And removing the cable release for the trunk (by going all wireless) is also another liability. That means that anyone who gains unauthorized access into the car would also have access to the trunk.
@PeterPan-794 жыл бұрын
So I’ve been watching your videos which BTW are pretty awesome but theirs something you haven’t covered that I’ve been wondering about. So I have the walk away setting ON which is great, but when exiting my car & walking over to the trunk (unlocking trunk with key fob) the walk away features goes off leaving me no time to reach the actual truck. The feature doesn’t seem to recognize what I’ve Done so the automatic lock beep doesn’t activate itself. There’s also continuous beeping that happens I can’t remember if it’s before I open the trunk or after just not sure what it’s for.
