My fix was a little different, I have an EZ mode that comes up so I just grab with my mouse and switch the positions, but I was able to figure it out because of this video. Well it is an old video, but the Ctrl,alt, delete worked and actually didn't have to do anything in the boot menu. It booted right up. I also removed the hd and put it right back. I'm using the laptop again. Thnx man

Great tutorial but there is somthing you forgot to add sometimes the SATA cables doesn't successfully connect to the hard drive. So if this problem happened to you check the hard disk cables and make sure to press them hard until you hear a "tick" (sometimes there's no sound but make sure to press them hard) and then restart your PC and i hope it works for you.

I have a Samsung laptop and I have different options at boot, I have boot device properties yes but not the other one. In boot device properties I can change the priority positioning I don't know which goes where or first. I have sata cd, sata hdd, then USB key, USB cd, USB fdd, USB hdd, finally network when I open set boot priority. Please help

Jonathan Vicious Hey, I solved my issue, Use the samsung recovery disk, and it will override and completely restore, I did that and now it works. The recovery disk came with the box you bought your laptop from. Good Luck! :D
