I was so delighted to hear what Natalie Dormer was saying about not defining female characters by the experiences that are uniquely female, but rather by focusing on the shared things that make us human. As a writer, but also as a woman who doesn't aspire to the traditional things expected of a woman, I'm loving seeing more and more stories that don't inevitably end in having kids or getting married. Not that there is anything wrong with those, but they simply aren't applicable to all women, and it's such a relief coming across a character that speaks to you personally.

I think Tipsy Talk works well as an interview format, because while I'm interested in cinema and television I'm rarely inclined to click on an interview video, but when it's a Tipsy Talk video instead it's just like watching another fun chat but with someone you know less well next to you, and in this case with deeper conversation.

It's often weird when KZbinrs do interviews, because they either are quite bad at interviewing or they try too much to make it look like a collab and the guest doesn't seem to feel comfortable.
