I honestly gotta respect the writing team for making a villain that is actually in full control the entire game, where you are never a real threat to his plan, and it works out exactly how the antagonist imagined. At most he was slightly surprised at Kidman being with Mobius, and mildly annoyed at Sebastian for the attack in the hospital at the end. I personally think that he let you have your dramatic final victory in the final battle as a reward for surviving this long, and a welcome present into his anti-Mobius conspiracy

I did once hear a theory that Ruvik felt a twisted kind of kinship with Sebastian given both of them lost family members to a fire, well not exactly true in Sebastian's case, but true at the time from his perspective. While its an amusing idea, I'm not sure that's the case, though one can never be sure of anything with Ruvik.

It's such a big contrast seeing how ominous the administrator looks in this first game compared to how...mundane he comes across in TEW2. Guess that's what happens when Ruvik has his influence. I also really missed seeing what he in Leslie's body would look like, all cleaned up and confident, but your ending line here makes me wonder if he had a lot more to do with Kidman's plan in TEW2 than Sebastian realized. Poor Seb's still in the dark...

On the point you made in the first couple of minutes isn't it odd that there is always a way to get out of rivicks traps? maybe that is your will to survive effecting the world around you always providing some sort of an out or maybe it is ruvicks inner artist he can't help but show of more of his creation despite ultimately wanting to stop you its definitely interesting

Poor Ruvik. He's using the only way he can to explain his pain and why he is the way he is. That's why everything is eventually winnable. Why he doesn't just put you in a box with haunted and leave you. He wants you to see everything before you judge him.

Ruvik just needs a good night of sleep. Having your brain conscious 24/7 will drag you down. Sleep is one of the most important parts of life and he just forgot about it's joy. All the psychopaths in media seem to be this way. 1 in stranger things, blackbeard in OnePiece, Moriarty in Sherlock, the devil irl, an alcoholic until their bodies give up and they are forced into sleep, Ruvik, haha lol. It is very exhausting and maddening

So if it wasn't for Sebatian, Kidman would have been able to take out Leslie to prevent him from his fate of being taken over, stopping Ruvik from devistating the real world? In a way, it seems that Sebatian was Ruvik's unknowing pawn to keep Leslie safe if Kidman got wise of Ruvik's plan for Leslie.

At the end Leslie walking away from hospital is not real. I'ts imagination of Sebastian which made by STEM side effects. Leslie taken away mobius employees before sebastian wakes up.

Sebastian is a fool, and Kidman should have been given communication lessons. I extremely dislike stories with plot holes that rely on “should have communicated better”. How frustrating of a basic, tired, overused trope
