this is such an interesting way to frame the lore it is rare to see videos covering everything is order like this rather than several videos on each a different topic.

Hey. Hey. How you doin'? Let us remember that we're here for the love of lore and storytelling. Big thanks goes out to Justin Bregg (www.twitch.tv/justinbregg ) for acting as the Bloodborne Guide Guy. Another thanks goes to Viryl (www.twitch.tv/viryl_tv ) for helping capture Chalice Dungeon footage. More to come! -Tip

Thank you a ton! I found you randomly while trying to decide whether to buy HZD a few years late. You really nail storytelling, and you recognize the good stuff! And you have now covered the single best lore/story/gameplay combo ever released. Imo the deep yet deliberate implications of Bloodborne lore are greater than Dark Souls or Elden Ring, it's a small slice of a larger story and setting that are cosmic in scale. They had to write so much unseen supporting lore just to have continuity for 2 random items or characters. So thank u for doing the best game ever. (I may be a bit biased) A hoonter is never alone.
@deadfisher000010 ай бұрын
It's funny, I played the game, didn't get anything, watched one lore video. Apparently I'm now an expert, because I found myself wanting to "correct" you for any differences in interpretation. Silly of me, obviously. Thanks for the video!

I really like the way you organized it into a definitive story and timeline. Makes it more interesting to digest even if we cant prove a single timeline/narrative true

There are some bits that I don’t agree with your interpretation but that’s the beauty of these games, everyone has their one story. But I really enjoyed your interpretation of the lore!

Thank you! I deeply appreciate the acceptance of this comment. Hail yourself!
@aquelesousa Жыл бұрын
"everyone has their one story" Only in the english descriptions, that is unnecessarily vague and in Dark Souls 1 they straight up tell you another story. Japanese descriptions are half literal and direct, half perspectives of people related to those descriptions and it's never something related to the "whole of the story", and rather their take. But i will die on a hill before i see someone searching for the japanese texts. So yeah. "INTERPRETATIONS", i guess.

IT'S FINALLY OUT AHHHHH!!!! Definitely worth the wait! You set up the back story so so well! Although, one thing I would disagree was Ludwig calling for the execution of the Vilebloods. I would say it's mostly the higher echelon of the Healing Church (sans Laurence) who ordered it and Logarius and his men were more than happy to carry it out. Regardless, I'm liking your take on it so far. Can't wait for the next part!

I really enjoy this. The manner and cadence of the narration makes me think of a scholar, in the remnants of a crumbling library, regaling the tale of their research to the traveller who has stumbled across them. Very fitting for Bloodborne. Fantastic work!

I gotta say I love your style on these videos after binge-watching all the way to this one while grinding out content in other games. The change of the tone and mood in how you retell the lore and narratives of these games based on whether they play out more as horror stories or children's tales (lowkey felt like I was six again during the Ori video) is all truly a nice touch in presentation.

There are bits of timeline and informations that the japanese description are more clearer and precise, so contradicting with some takes in the video, but I have to say: Holy shit, what a good video! Not a single jump of logic within events to build a timeline, interpretations and takes that are at least logical. On and all, really, what a good writing! Thank you so much for dedicading a lot of your time to present not only the story of the game, but actually writing a piece of concise and cohesive work. Seriously, everything was clearer, very well conected, presented and contextualized, never out of place, always laying good enough ground to be presented or even more explained by another information or interpretation and without taking you out of the flow of events. It's such a bliss to see such good writing in this plataform. This video was a blast. I wanted to be the scumbag who writes tons and tons of japanese descriptions within to game to better explain some things, but i feel like it's not necessary. Even though I should, it's not necessary, it feels like a good cohesive adaptation of the game and presents itself very good. Thank you so much for your work.
