im in over my head. i started animating cell by cell, then i discovered layers, then i started experimenting with a few inventive methods, then to make their demonstration a little more appealing i created actual artistic scenes. then i started experimenting and testing more and more inventive methods and its only ended up with me having too much assets to not do something with, so i started adding to the assets with an idea in mind, but ive now realised that finishing the idea is going to take a massive effort for something either everyone will laugh at, or something that, um, everyone will laugh at and want more of lol

I have a bunch of pictures with cartoony charactets and transparent backgrounds that I’d like to make an animated video from by simply animate how the pictures move around in a video timeline. Which application would be easiest to acconplish that with? I’m pretty decent at Photoshop but know nothing about creating animated videos. I have access to all adobe applications, but it doesn’t have to be adobe. It’s going to be used for a 10 second video intro, so i’d like to accomplish it without investing too much time into this.

Great tutorial - thank you. You have a "draw oval" tool, but I don't - I only have rectangle and line. If I click the "..." icon at the base of the toolbar I get a pallete of tools come up, from which I can drag and drop new tools to my toolbar, but most of them are greyed out, even though I don't have them - including the oval tool. Any ideas?
@TipTut3 жыл бұрын
Hmm, I'm not sure, if they're not in your toolbar you should be able to drag them from there. Try resetting your workspace to default and seeing if that fixes it!
@RobManser773 жыл бұрын
@@TipTut wow - thanks for the quick reply. I spoke to Adobe Support in the end and apparently the rectangle is a grouping, not just a tool. If I right click on the rectangle it shows me lots of related tools, such as oval. There doesn’t appear to be a way to get the oval on the toolbar with the latest version. I must admit I’m new to Animate (two days so far), and despite being keen to learn and having worked in IT for 20 years (trainer and author, so used to learning new apps) I’m struggling with how tricky it is to use. Your videos are amazing (they really are), but despite them I still find things that baffle me. For example, you say to select the fluid brush tool and draw, but when I do, the line I’ve drawn disappears as soon as my pen leaves the tablet. I think it’s a mode or something, but why that’s the default I can’t imagine! I found loads of links of people baffled over this.
