Albania needs a new airport urgently. I visited 7 years ago and the place was really crowded and to think Tourism numbers to Albania have almost doubled since then. They're thankfully building a new one in Vlore, which will actually be the biggest Airport in the entire Balkans but it won't be finished until summer 2024 at the earliest.

Once was enough for me, you dont realize how hard it is to leave there to where you want to go until your there.. the airport was the best part of Albania... A month in Tirana was like a decade and the winter was hell

Actually, this year in July i went to this airport to go to Antalya (just to let you know, i am albanian so i use this airport) And it actually has changed a bit, theres no more business lounge, and the duty free is WAY better now. Also the escalators to go to the airside arent there anymore, there are escalators at the end of the airport part there. which locates you down to the Airside

Oh wow it must be boring waiting when you’re early . When I’m waiting at my gate and I still have time , I explore the airport but I don’t go too far or else I might get lost and miss my flight lol

The reason why you don't receive a stamp on your passport, is because about 5 years ago they completely digitalized the system, it's all electronic. So you don't get a stamp for getting in or getting out, this applies to everyone.
