The best tutorial that I have seen. I would absolutely love to see you do a tutorial on a 19.5 24 backhoe tire. You all make this look so easy, but I can tell you from first hand experience, they will kick your ass if you don’t know exactly what to do. Thanks for your detailed explanation.

Great tutorial video! I changed car and motorcycle tires before, but bought some heavy duty tire irons to change my rear John Deere Tractor tire. This video is a great basic how-to for big tires. Thanks!

I'm23 and a tire man myself I grew up around the tire business my whole life and I've watched about every tire changing video on KZbin (just BC)and yours are the best... there are a few things we do differently for example on a 10.00 20 in stead of putting the tire on the rim on the ground I lean the tire against my truck and put the rim in the tire and let it all down then put on the ring... As far as the "golden tool" or whatever I've had big companies call me out BC they couldn't change the tire with that thing and seen guys bust a$$ using that thing taking 2-3hrs on 1 tire.... I'll take my tire irons over anything that any day witch brings me to next point I have 2 "curved mounting" bars that I use but 1 of them I ground the lil lip for dismounting the inner bead off the rim so it's like a "spoon bar" but with a lil more leverage BC its longer then a reg spoon bar and if you need that other end it's already right there... also if I'm doing a outside tire i don't use the duck bill tire hammer to break the bead I have a slide hammer made just for tires BC that inner bead is alot of times hard to break in my experience... I've taken the outside bead off and the inside is still stuck even after beating on it with reg duck bill hammer for 20min i get my slide hammer and break it it in 2 hits.. I also listen to my cheetah tank to tell when it's full,.. do you kno about using starting fluid to also seat the bead?

Can you post a video about how to remove a rusted "stuck" rim.. Where are the sweet spots to hit it
@YoungChristopher19 жыл бұрын
Chito Lopez Depends on the rim and other things. For the most part if it is rusted, look for where the rust is. If it's on the studs I recommend the back side. If it is stuck to the hub/drum then the front of the tire will work as-well. Use a rubber mallet tho, unless its steel.
@YoungChristopher19 жыл бұрын
+cj young Also depends on weather or not its an outer or inner tire.
@YoungChristopher19 жыл бұрын
+cj young Ps: This is for getting it off the truck. If you meant off the truck already.. dismounting... really aint not tips I can see being helpful.

holy shit! while you have the basics down. your not showing a tire thats been on a rim for 10 years or longer. those have to be fought of that rusty fucking rim. have you ever tackled a 20 year old farm tire? either peel over or split-rim? ive been doing this since 1979. go home boy.
