So..... Not safe to put on tire tread on a vehicle you drive? Would this cut your grip on the road/affect handling?

It's totally safe. The treatment will be immediately removed by the road, but it's not slick or greasy.

I’ve tried the Blak and it was amazing, looked beautiful however, the coat of gloss looked amazing after drying yet cracked after a long drive….

It will be amazing again 😎 Make sure there is 0 residue of 'protectants' on surface before treatment and new tires will require a few weeks of driving and Blooming-Out before coating. Also, we recommend no more than two coats. A heavy layer of the solids, ceramics, will lead to fine cracks.

Hi , found your video and had been looking at this product , do you need to use both or can you use one or the other ? Thank you much..
@renewprotectvideo4 ай бұрын
You will only need one. I added a section from our Q/A page below. --- Each have the same polymer-ceramic hybrid structure. BLAK is the choice for strongly faded black surfaces, and holds one advantage over GLOZ in that it contains a high level of the UV absorber carbon black. BLAK can be used as a base coat followed with GLOZ or SATN to intensify the look, shine, and protective abilities. Each individual product can also be layered for a similar effect. Both have multiple UV-blocking aspects and offer very similar qualities of UV inhibitors which help maintain polymer properties and integrity by limiting polymer degradation in exposure environments.

Interesting🤔 Game changer

Can I just use gloz or do I need 2 do both?

You will only need one, BLAK, GLOZ, or SATN. For super glossy look some use BLAK as a base and follow with the GLOZ.

What I'm wondering is if it will start peeling and look like plastidip peeling
@renewprotectvideo Жыл бұрын
The seal and bond will slowly wear down but never peel. It also works very well over PlastiDip. Adds a lot of strength to the vinyl spray.
What if tire dry rot has already begun, but is minor and the tire still holds air? Can this product be used? If so, which is best for this situation?

BLAK, GLOZ, or SATN will help slow the progression yet the damage is there and best safe option is to replace if it becomes bad. Most in RV industry prefer the BLAK. They are of the same polymer/ceramic base.

So you wouldn't wanna do this on the tread of a tire that you drive on public roads
@renewprotectvideo2 жыл бұрын
Most do the tread face for seasonal storage.

I maintain a car collection full of Ferraris and have been using Dura coat Dura dressing. It has been giving very mixed and poor results regardless of prep before application. Dura coatings customer service is absolute garbage. I have used Blak on an F12 an it appears to be giving good results so far. I’ll be switching over all of the vehicles to your product. Bye bye, Dura-Coat & your horrible customer service.👋🏻

After 15yrs we do have a few cheap copies out there. A couple are simply rebottling sealers from big box hardware stores.
