I think this video is about the Dakar version , because the regular E-07+ is not to bad in wet condition and is average to install . I totally agree that de Dakar is one of the hardest tire to mount and that is to hard for wet weather on tarmac .
@MrLuk7810 ай бұрын
It could be. Here in Brazil they they show dakar on the tyre but there are shops that still advertise as eo7 plus dakar. I believe they removed the dakar from the specifications. Here they sell e07 and e07 plus, which is the one i find a pain to break the bead. The hardest i've tried and close the impossible depending on the tools you have at hand. best regards

Sounds like the Dakar, alright.🇳🇱 NL

Does sound like the Dakar version - I've run E07+ and it was good off road and on road at speed (no shake) and no problem on road in wet

When i first bought my africa twim it had these tyres on. I wanted to change them as on road it was causing steering shake. It took me over 3 hours to do it per a wheel. I cant imahe ever doing this out on the road. Just to break the bead, i had to get a long metal pole, lay it on thw side and jump on it as hard as i could.
@MrLuk783 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. The bead is such a pain. If it helps, I have a video on the channel in which I changed myself the mitas and balanced the tyre. best regards!

I am thinking about that tyre or the Karoo 4. I’m gonna buy at varella too.
@MrLuk788 ай бұрын
Never tried karoo 4. Karoo 3 was one of the best tires I've tried, mainly considering the price mileage ratio. as it was made in Brazil, it was cheaper. Karoo 4 almost doubled the price. Nowadays it costs exactly the same as mitas but it lasts at least 2,5 times less.

@MrLuk788 ай бұрын

Pedindo agora👍🏼 Obs. Teu ingles é mto bom👏🏼 morou fora do Brasil? abraco e muito obrigado

Quiet on the road! Any howling?
@MrLuk785 ай бұрын
In comparison , t's a lot quieter than metzeler karooo 3, but it makes more noise than metzeler tourance, if it helps. Nevertheless, it is not annoying at all.

@@MrLuk78me switching from 90/10 tyre, I commute 35 km on asphalt daily and after that my fingertips tingle and I found it very vibrating😢
@MrLuk782 ай бұрын
@@atakanobuzHave you tried balancing the front tyre? To be honest I haven't noticed any increase in Vibration in sets if mitas I fitted. It does increase fuel consumption just by a bit, in comparison to a more road use tyre
@atakanobuz2 ай бұрын
@@MrLuk78 Yes it is balanced by mechanic. Actually its my first 40/60 or 50/50 tyre trial. The most off-road tyre i can compare is scorpion rally str’s on my peugeot scooter and compared to that the front vibration on highway noticeably higher.

Its the best mid and full size adventure bike tire you can get. If you can get it. Just don't get the Dakar version. The Dakar version sidewalls have zero flex and its impossible to mount...

There are better offroad tyres in the market such as metzler karoo but they don't withhold more than 5000km. considering mitas e07 + is a dual purpose tyre i think it does perform relatively well offroad in all types of terrains

The pattern of the front wheel is inverted .. 👀
@MrLuk789 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment.Yes, and it should be inverted . The tread pattern in the front tyre is supposed to help the bike to maximize breaking power. the front tyre pattern should always be on the opposite of wheel turning. Best regards
