Hey - got a new set of wheels, tires, & tpms sensors. Manufacturer of wheels said they programmed and installed the new sensors onto the wheel & tires before they sent them to me. My tpms service light is on & when I get to the menu, I don’t see the part where it has the tpms indicator & says reset. I do see the option to switch from one wheel set to the next. I’ll switch it to 2 instead of 1 and see if that does anything, but if it doesn’t - what should I do? Tire shop quoted me $560 for a new set of sensors & labor but I really don’t want to have these sensors I JUST bought to go to waste

You need an ODB tool to initiate relearn and another one to trigger the TPMS. That sucks, I'm in the same situation now.

Hello and thank you for the video. I got used set of winter tires for my 2017 Outlander. My tire pressure light start blinking and giving service required message. I followed the insteuctions, switched to settings 2 and the service light disappeared. But I never get the tires set up for my car. Is it ok now? Can I drive like that?

Hi, the problem is probably that the wheels are not yet paired with your car. Only when they are paired, you can choose one or the other wheel set for the user interface. To pair the wheels to the car you have to ask Mitsubishi to do it or any other service center that has the Mitsubishi tools. After this, you will be able to choose different wheel sets from your car user interface. Hope this helps.

i tryed and not working to me... what can be the problem when everything is new?
@diagnostictrees Жыл бұрын
Hello, here are two other possible causes: 1) The wheels are new and were never programmed to the car (Mitsubishi dealer has to do it). 2) The pressure sensors in the wheels are not functioning. Let us know what worked out for you!

I brought my car twice to have two different sets of tires programmed, is it possible when they programmed my 2nd set of tires tires they have overridden the first set rather than program in the other wheel set?

Mine is 2018 and dont have this setting optin what the fuck!
@diagnostictrees3 ай бұрын
That's strange. In mine there are different setting depending on if the car is "running" or "stopped". I suggest you try with the "Start Button" in Drive or in "Not Drive".

@@diagnostictreesok so i found the reset setting i had to put it on handbrake and reset it then drive for a minute or something when the symbol is blinking but i have been driving for hours now and the symbol is still on my dashboard?

@@filipinofear13 if you changed the wheels, the reset is not sufficient. First you have to set the other wheels (if you have two sets of wheels saved into the car) like I showed in the video.
