Our lack of energy has not recovered five years out of surgery. Blood tests ok except for iron. Take plenty of vitamins, never stopped those after surgery, even took iron tablets, but having absorption problems. Having iron infusions but still problems. Also have seizures. Not sure what's going on. Now am on Keppra. Totally feel like crap, and have little energy to do what we need to do. Still in the process of trying to work out what's going on.

Yes, vitamins play a large role in fatigue after surgery. Also, we sell bariatric vitamins online at www.shoplivehealthymd.com

I had my surgery in May of 21 and I also have fibromyalgia. There are days I have nothing in me .
@LiveHealthyMD3 жыл бұрын
That is not uncommon with fibromyalgia, although if you have not seen your doctor lately, you may want to get blood work done to make sure you are not iron deficient which could be a cause for fatigue.

I'm tired and sleepy at 7p. 😫 and sleep for 10 hours.

How far out are you from surgery? This is not unusual early on but this could also be a sign of vitamin deficiencies - most commonly is iron. If you haven't seen your provider lately it will be a good idea to get your labs checked.

Today’s my ten day of surgery m feeling weak hardly can go to washroom.. feeling unconscious
@LiveHealthyMD3 жыл бұрын
Hi Anna, fatigue and weakness is normal after surgery especially if you are following a liquid diet. If it becomes severe, we recommend you reach out to your bariatric provider and team to have them check your labs.
