Honestly this is a relief, to see even that someone with your skill and experience gets frustrated with what passes for driving in these races. I love racing, always have. So when I want to hop on iRacing to escape the frustrations of reality only to be absolutely railroaded with shenanigans makes you want to say screw it. Trucks lately has been an effing joke. I've really been enjoying running dirt cars. Hope you can find your joy in this again buddy!

Yeah. I started ovals this season and raced Langley for the first time this week Seems to me that it's really hard to avoid clueless idiots wrecking ahead at this track. My experience was similar. Still, tracking for C class license by the end of this season and hoping that the higher level Official races have better drivers. Enjoyed the vid. A good opportunity to empathise.

This is why i had to step away completely for a few weeks. between road races and ovals, it just hasn't been that much fun

Last night was terrible..... One race (my last race of the night) I had a guy ram rear-end a guy during the "pace lap"...the rammed car came down hard into me and I got "tire damage". Dude that did the ramming ended up there racing up for 6th pos...while I had to go and pit.

I want to run some street stock races but everytime, like clockwork, get wrecked by lapped cars.

Langley seems exceptionally tough to get around, especially for people coming from forza or GT etc. steam sale seems to have brought some new players. personally i picked up iracing about a month ago, when Charlotte was still running in street stocks , and the second langley got introduced the racing all went downhill its like everyone forgot how to drive. retaliations are insane lately too on all oval series, which is what makes me think forza players

8 and 12 be like "all we need to do is practice qualifying and run qualifying laps all race" then cause 80% of the incidents

Ought to organize some officials with the league guys. At least most of the field will be drivers you can trust and race.

I’ve been playing around with road racing more cause it seems there are always so many trash drivers in officials anymore. This is why I’m happy I’m going to days and can run the leagues now. EDIT: The 9 doing that blocking and rough driving around the leader makes them a trash driver too!

Late models and modifiers seem to be the only place to get a clean race

I'll start off by saying I'm not great. Just started Iracing. In class C rn trying to run the legends cars. Literally taken out every single race. 8+ cautions every race. My Irating has dropped 500 bc of other people.

At least its not just me. Ive been doing this about a year and for the life of me its impossible to stay out of somebody elses mess. Its really gotten worse. And ive went from running a race everyday to about one a week and if I had another option where somebody would Control these idiots I would go there instantly. They say they cant monitor races but theyve got computers that monitor every single everything else. And honestly not a crybaby I usally just let it slide but every race is to much considering time involved.

had one too many of these results when i raced 4cyl. and that cost time and money as well. it does get old. aggravating as well because obviously it's something you want to do, but when the only redeeming quality is FUN and it gets taken away, then as you noted, what's the point ? i suggest a week of wreckfest on xbox. that way, you have NO actual thoughts of a clean race happening and maybe you can take a few others out in creative ways.
