I love them awesome job! Is the temperature to cure them in a black tee is different than other colors? I am using water based speed ball
@Ryonet2 жыл бұрын
Hi @Martha Gutierrez The cure temperature will depend on your ink and what temp it requires to be fully cured. There most likely wont be much difference between garment colors. if you are building up a thicker ink deposit on a dark color garment, you will need to take more time to cure, but not really a change in temp. The added time ensures that we are getting that temp through the whole ink layer on the tee. Hope that helps.

Tape down paint sticks on top of the frame just to the edge of your squeegee. Make your print a little more consistent.

Wow I’m loving it 🥰 can you possibly tell me what size screen did you use
@Ryonet2 жыл бұрын
Hi @NiLaja -NiNi ! Happy Friday. The screens were 20"x24" and the mesh count on one was 156 and the other I BELIEVE was a 200. Hope that helps.

What about an auto press? Should be easier for vertical strokes right?
@Ryonet3 жыл бұрын
For sure. It is a lot easier to get a consistent color gradient and end product with an auto. It takes out all of the human error!

Can you get the same results with water based inks. I wish that I had the time to experiment with this today; I ❤️this video!!
@Ryonet3 жыл бұрын
Hi @Eric Tuxen. you could use water based inks. they may blend and become "muddy" much quicker compared to plastisol due to the consistency of the ink. Plastisol can have a little bit more body. BUT, as long as you are willing to experiment with it, you can make it happen!
@marcomaiolica2142 жыл бұрын
Fountain ink with plastisol it's much easier, the stroke you hit usually goes on the same direction and blending the colour will cone much later...by the way with waterbased colors I suggest you to drop few colours one print at the time, if you use a retarder you can manage the drying easier

@Ryonet3 жыл бұрын
Hi @Randy L Clark. it actually was a camera were experimenting with. no actual screen print purpose. Happy Printing!
