I... Have listened to hundreds of creepypasta, gaming, non gaming, and everything in-between. I don't think I've ever heard a story like this. I really don't know what to say. It's amazing.

The thing that really bugs me about this is the age that they made the main character. He's supposed to be 8 years old, but so much of what he says, how he thinks does not fit an 8 year old. If he was aged up even a few years, maybe 12 or 13...I feel that it would work so much better. But 8 just doesn't feel right.

In the epilogue it's revealed that the whole story is being told, by Billy, 20 years later. So although it's about an 8/9 year old kid, it's being told from the point of view of an adult in their late 20's after years of therapy and processing what happened. 8yo Billy probably wasn't thinking or speaking in that way but 28yo Billy does

How has this superb story grown so forgotten by everyone, being a better written, more interesting and actually GOOD tale than 99.999999999999999999999999999999% of all time videogame creepypastas??? Like, it's insulting that only after so many fucking years i've found this, rotting in an abandoned corner of youtube. Like, WHAT THE FUCK, how did stories so stupidly TERRIBLE like Sonic.exe or its abortions have been more popular and remember than this??? It was so ahead of its time, and still to this day, remains as better than almost every gaming creepypasta I know (better than ben drowned, godzilla nes and all that shit), dude like honestly, how????

@@Tiritiribobiri Hahahahah my bad bro, you did an amazing job editing and acting, don't mind what this john doe says. I enjoyed it a lot, I'm grateful you did this. And fucking yes, is absolutely unacceptable that this went under the radar the way it did. I think it has something to do with its title, it sounds like a cheap clickbait or something, not even close to be representative of the true value of the narrative. I guess knowledge is a privilege only a few can handle 🤣

I come back to this video time and time again because you do such a great job narrating. Setting up major plot points and twists (Tom Nook), giving each character in the story so much expressiveness, and overall a really engaging experience. I really wish this video had more love, it’s amazing and I want to thank you for all of the sleepless nights you’ve helped me overcome and all of the hours of focus you’ve given me while I’m doing homework and prep materials for my engineering major. Hope you have an amazing day, dude!!!!

I wish you the best of luck with your engineering major, and I hope it leads to a career you absolutely love.

This must be the best creepy pasta I've ever heard. The way it became a pessimistic interpretation of how the game plays out is very clever, and I did not expect those twists and turns. I'm shivering! What an amazing story. Also, such a good job on the narration and added images.

As much of a classic of legend this is, the idea this kid is 8 years old and in only the first two chapters is swearing like million times the sailor Gulliver is, knows what a furry is and knows what the word Orwellion means. Like i know it's supposed to be he's telling this story years later but like, still. To me it makes ten times more sense if he's like, a teenager. like 13-16. Cause again what the fuck kind of 8 year old swears like that and knows what those words mean.
@ElloFantasy2 жыл бұрын
I had an issue with the age as well, not because of the swearing because I've actually heard young kids swear a lot like that. But the thought processes and his vocabulary don't fit an 8 year old at all. That was bugging me throughout the story.

I came back to this after being nostalgic about it from when I was a teenager. It was really good up until the tunnel with Tom Nook. The ending was really goofy and relied on gore for scares, as well as being full of holes. It’s mostly a great story though, just don’t quite hit the landing.

2 things: 1) I downloaded this video and listened to repeatedly as I drove across the US, great work! It provided me lots of entertainment. 2) What recording do you use for that air raid siren where the sky lights up? I'm just curious.

i'll think about this advice if i do this sort of thing again; the secret is that i absolutely hate audio mixing and bgm especially lmao. im never really sure what im doing with background tracks, and these projects take so much effort and time even without them -- by the time i get to music im like ughhhh nooo. but you're absolutely right, music would add something more. i just gotta buckle down and face it. 💪
