I only tried the pink one and the red one and I don’t wear primers I just use a light lotion for a bit of hydration and both don’t work for my mature oily skin, they both get too shiny after about 3-4 hours and I live in cold weather for most of the year!

I have been using this cushion for a couple years, and I picked up the pink version when the red was all sold out (after the hype hit). I honestly think if you had not anticipated dryness and prepped with a sloppy moisturizer, you would have had a smoother more natural application and would have been matte for the full 12 hours. I think these cushions are designed to film form to bare skin, and don't perform in terms of texture or longevity as well when the skin is heavily moisturized or primed. I think they all looked amazing on you though! I think I speak for all of us oily girls and say we appreciate your thorough reviews and comparisons, and especially the wear tests. 🎉🎉 Also the pink one makes a great eye primer!

Loved the thoughts and time you put into these. I have the pink and red cushions and both are fairly similar. Pink has a stronger scent but I find it disappears quickly. Ty for informing us on how to prep the skin as well. Liked, commented and subscribed! ❤🎉

Thank you for the in depth review! My 57yo combo oily skin suffocates under full coverage. I tried a sample of red version and cant tolerate the heavy feeling coverage and found it too dewy feeling . Plus I dont want to deal with matching skin tone (i have tan skin) or discover the finish doesn't meet my satin finish preference. I will pass since i dont want to layer primer or powder on something that is already "full" cov'g

I LOOOVE mine. I got the small size red one to check the color and I guessed my shade perfectly (21N) but I was debating which one to get in large size, but I think red is still the right one for me.

I prefer the pink and black cushions over the red. The red gives a more “mask” like effect for me. Not sure why. I still think all of them are great cushions! I still have yet to try the crystal one. Great comparison.

I would say to experiment with it. I find I have to powder with both still, but I live in quite a humid climate. So it might vary!

You should try these as concealers. The red cushion seems to be great self setting concealer for me so I’m curious if the others would be the same except the silver cushion. I feel like with their coverage it’s a great alternative for concealer

I think the cushion might be neoprene? Like what a scuba suit is made out of! And the finish on the fabric is like a slightly velvety one, rather than the slick feeling some shiny neoprene has.

i WAS expecting to love the red cushion. I bought the small on first to test then bought the big one after the former was consumed. I would just briefly say that i love the formula, but i do not love product deliver, ie. cushion foundation.

It does. When you first apply it, it matches your skin tone but after a while, it becomes darker making you look like you got a bad tan or something. I got the trial version that comes in small packets of various shade.

I’ve suffered from oily skin my entire life. I think greasy, oily and glowy skin looks stinky, dirty and nasty. 😂I hate it. I try to stay away from the glow as much as possible. I worked with guys in construction and heard how bad they talk about shiny skin on women. It made me self conscious. Slippery, greasy skin. I hate it. I won’t even go outside if I’m looking greasy. I wash my face so many times a day to get rid of oil in the summer time.

It’s so hard to tell on the other side of things. But it looks good. ​@@mistytells I had very oily skin too. Pray for menopause 😂. I used tissue to blot throughout the day. Maybe once during the day I'd use powder after blotting so it wouldn't get cakey. Hang in there!
