The ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday (September 19) claimed that laboratory reports have detected adulterated oil containing “beef tallow” in the ghee used for making the world-renowned Tirupati prasadam, which is distributed to crores of followers who visit the Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala.
This added more fuel to the fire after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous YSRCP government of using animal fat for making the consecrated laddus.

Can you get cow ghee for Rs320/kg? YSRCP changed vendors from Nandini Ghee which was a supplier for over 30 years to AR foods, Alpha Foods etc couple of years ago to get Ghee for Rs320/kg by taking excessive bribes. Jagan's dad YSR, converted many hindu's cristians for the sake of votes and now Jagan went one step ahead by converting most sacred holy food Laddu from Vegetarian to non-Vegetarian.

Previously when we used to visit TTD we used to get lot of ghee smell that used to fill our nose and lungs...but during Jagan govt we noticed that mild ghee and major oil smell around..I can surely say with this that the laddu was adulterated...the taste too speak the same...how many agree with me..that ghee smell was reduced to almost 20%
