Had mine for 2 years and only problem for me was the crown. Of all my watches, it's the only one where the crown keeps being stripped so that I can't screw it down anymore. I've had to replace the crown three times now. Nonetheless, it's gorgeous and despite my experience, it's still my most complimented watch (I got the blue on blue).
@chriswatchreviews47524 жыл бұрын
Wow, I'm sorry you had that many problems with the crown. The funny thing is I thought the crown and winding action of it was one of the best out of all my watches, including watches that are more expensive in my collection. I've been fortunate not to have any problems with it. It's definitely a killer dive watch, and I absolutely love it. Hope you have better luck with yours in the future, thanks for tuning in!

Nice video bro. I was thinking of buying the all black colour in the same model but I'm afraid of the durability of the black pvd coating. What do you think, how long could it last if used daily ?
@chriswatchreviews47523 жыл бұрын
I am honestly not sure. I've never owned a black PVD coated watch until recently with my islander watch, so I can't speak of long term durability. What I can say is that Tissot in general makes really good, reliable watches that last a long time. Hope that helps!

What is the rotating feature on the bezel ? How does this work ? Is SILICIUM a better option ?
@chriswatchreviews47523 жыл бұрын
Silicium on the new Tissot Seastars is a better option, mostly because a Silicon balance spring has better shock resistance as well as resistance to magnetism. The rotating bezel is supposed to act as a timing device if you are compression diving, but I've never used it, so unfortunately there isn't much more info I can give you there.

I want to buy this watch but Tissot screwed up with that silver numbering and markings on the bezel. You can't see the darn numbers with light shining on the watch. I don't know why Tissot will not correct this idiocy bezel design.

I agree with you. As much as I love the fact that the bezel is made out of ceramic, they did a lousy job with the visibility of the numerals
@fungus704 жыл бұрын

@EthosAtheos4 жыл бұрын
I think Tissot assumed the people buying a watch like this wanted the shine black on the bezel. I doubt they think anyone uses it as a timer. I'm not making fun of it mind you I have one and it looks awesome, but yeah you have to get the angle right to read it. I will say mine is a silver faced one and it is easier to read the bright face than the darker ones.

Is the movement repairable....I mean is it a watch which we can keep for long time like 10 20 years?

@@sauravsarker9945 that is correct, to my understanding. Those Swissmatic, Sistem51 based movements are hermetically sealed and cannot be serviced.
