Vacuoles are for storing substances. But the purpose of a meristamtic tissue is not storage, but rather growth.🌺 Thus, they lack a vacuole.🌿 Like if u like my explanationn

Vacuole are absent in meristamatic tissue because meristamatic tissue did not store any substance and the important function of vacuoles is storage. hence meristamatic tissue do not require vacuole

The main function of Vacuole is to store food substances(Amino acids, Organic acids, Protein, sugar) These cells doesnt have Vacuoles as there is no need of storage of food particles as the cells are continuously dividing For ex: if an athlete Consumes food it does not stay in him as the energy I required it would be produced Same thing happens here in meristematic tissue

They did not have vacuoles so that the easily divide the cell if the vacoule will present then it's very hard to divide the cell as the vacuole give turgidity and rigidity to the cell and
