Now, I'm not a Trump supporter, but what's frightening is we have a lot of people, I'm assuming they're younger and more attuned to social media, who make assumptions based on what they see in a highly biased bubble and they don't even make the slightest effort in researching. 1. Inclusivity in Pageantry now that Trump's President: a. TRANSWOMEN WERE ALLOWED TO JOIN MISS UNIVERSE STARTING IN THE TRUMP ERA. b. THE TRUMP ERA SAW WINNERS COMING FROM NON-SASH FACTOR COUNTRIES: TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, BOTSWANA, ANGOLA --- ALL BLACK BEAUTIES, I MIGHT ADD. YOU HAD THE LIKES OF JAPAN WHO FLOURISHED AND WON A CROWN IN THE TRUMP ERA. YOU HAD COUNTRIES LIKE KOSOVO, UKRAINE AND OTHER EASTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES WHO THRIVED IN MISS UNIVERSE. c. OUR VERY OWN 11-YEAR STREAK STARTED IN THE TRUMP ERA. 2. Will the children of Filipino immigrants be deported? ---> A simple google search would yield that children of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS MAY BE DEPORTED UNDER TRUMP'S NEW POLICY. Key word: ILLEGAL. No more anchor babies. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR FILIPINO COUNTRYMEN TO BE SCARED OF DEPORTATION IF THEY IMMIGRATED LEGALLY. Tita, I hope you encourage your audience to do the bare minimum in researching. What I see is a bunch of regurgitation of what they see in social media and no single independent and well-informed thought.
