The forks are so handy for so many jobs. Nothing beats tossing awkward, heavy stuff on a pallet on the ground and just letting the machine do all the work. Great to see the Mrs. is back home and on the mend!
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023Ай бұрын
They sure are. I have to find more good old pallets now. Thanks, she is getting a little stronger every day now but still has a long way to go. Thanks for watching.

Glad to see Mrs. URHC on her feet! That dump box looks pretty darn handy, never seen one quite like that. I hope we see a resurgence of these sorts of things being made state side.
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023Ай бұрын
Thanks! She is doing much better now, but still has a long way to go. The pallet forks are USA made and affordable, but the box is from China. I would love to see a company like Catawba make a similar version. The welds are far from perfect but the box seems very well built and a great starting point to modify. Thanks for watching.

Good morning 🌅, URHC , great to hear that your wife is feeling much better now, she will soon be cranking the rip , making sure that you are working and behaving yourself 😂😂😂, some new toys to play with, look very well-made, A shame about the little damage, But you can definitely move your logs around with that bit with ease, And it looks like you’ve got a few logs there to keep you nice and warm and toasty in the winter time, Stay safe keep up the great work, From France,

Thanks, she's doing better everyday. I'm going to weld on racks and tool carriers so the scuffs didn’t bother me. Eventually it will be painted orange to match the tractor. I'm hoping for another mild winter. How's your shop coming along? Thanks for watching.
@greghomestead8366Ай бұрын
Both look good to me. I'm kind of looking forward to winter. I tend to spend more time in my shop. I have a basement shop like you do. I'm still praying for your wife. Let us know when she is all better and doesn't need prayers anymore. Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan

I'm also looking forward to winter. Haven't been in my shop since april and have a bunch of projects to complete. She is doing much better and starting to get around without a walker now. Every day is a little better. Another procedure as an outpatient next week and a couple weeks later she will switch to new drugs to stop her immune system from attacking her liver. Thanks for the prayers and thanks for watching.

Glad to see your wife making a recovery. That dump box looks real handy. Not sure if they make them for smaller tractors like my Kubota BX, but some type of box on the three point hitch would be nice even if it doesn't dump.
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023Ай бұрын
Thanks for the well wishes! They do make a smaller 10 cubic ft box for smaller tractors. They have a hydraulic dump and manual dump version. My links don't work right so if you hilight the link and chose go to it will take you to the page with the 30 and 10 cu ft versions. Thanks for watching.

That is pretty neat I didn't know there was a dumbable quick attach box! I might have to pick one up. Thanks for sharing
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023Ай бұрын
This was the only affordable one I could find. Seems well made and works good. I have to getvrestrictors for the hydraulic lines to slow the dump down some. Adjustable height makes it easy to load. Thanks for watching.

That’s a nice piece of machinery for sure. Now you need another machine to load it. Lol. Thanks for the demo!

Those look like good choices. Pallet forks are a must have IMO. We went with Artillian forks for our 2025R Deere. They’re fairly lightweight which helps get the most out of our tractors lift capacity. I find them to be sturdy as well, have used them many times prying up root balls of small trees/shrubs. The only con thus far is the price.
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023Ай бұрын
The Artillian do seem to be well made and sturdy, but a little pricey. These are about 325 pounds that is the same as the bucket. I have to find some old pallets in good condition to have around. Thanks for watching.

Good to see your wife up and about. I have a question about ride on lawnmowers and with your experience with that type of machinery I thought you'd know. My husband is has health issues and even walk behind a self propelled mower is too much for him. Can you recommend a small ride on lawnmower that is easy to use and wont break down?
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023Ай бұрын
Thanks, she's doing better everyday. Not sure how big a lawn you have but there's no such thing as a mower that won't break down. There are some battery ride on mowers that seem reliable and require less maintenance then gas machines that may fit your needs. No carrying home gas and no oil changes. Just plug them in. There's also mowers that will mow like one of those romba vacuums on their own. Probably best to visit an outdoor power equipment store in your area and see what they recommend. Thanks for watching.

Glad to see your wife is back on her feet. One of the your last videos I watched, you mentioned she had gone back to the hospital. I hope she continues to get stronger. On your new tractor. It looks great. I think I asked you previously, but will you be using the enclosed heated cab for snow blowing and plowing? Stay safe and healthy. Don from Milwaukee

Thanks, she is doing better every day. The second time was only 8 days. That is the plan but I have to replace the blower with a wider unit and probably will have to wait until next year with everything going on with Dale. Thanks for watching.
