Fun to see you started with the Rans S6, and now with the ultimate bush plane, I hope we see you in competition soon, because you are one of the only Pilots that truly uses your plane for Bush activities, and it should pay off in competition

really great to see you in the new plane todd Really enjoying seeing the performance of the landing gear, travel & dampener Plus the overall of the BLT wing cuff leading edge design and the 340. Looking forward to seeing you go camping and being able to bring along an extraordinary amount of gear along with your GF seeing new LZ’s and revisiting old ones. I’ve since moved out of Colorado so i feel watching GKF is a window back into the time I spent there the last 11 years. Thought Trent would be moving to the BLT when he announced his new airplane, I can see why he went the way he did, but I think I’d be going with the BLT, for myself. Still encouraging you to try to do collab with other KZbinr’s, would love to see you able to get more revenue from more views, more money for gas and time you can cut work. I think this is the best STOL and GA Flying channel out there - I just wish more people would find the channel. Plus all the channels I know of within range of The new rig, would really like to see Grind Hard or Off the Ranch or Matt’s off-road, or others that don’t even fly. Really loved the first Cletus video you put out! anyway, thanks a bunch for keeping us fed with great flying videos to watch. Maybe one day I’ll be able to buy a BLT, do my biannual and Tail wheel endorsement, and get back in The air. Until then, keep up the great work.

Got to say you have built a great plane. Can’t believe how quick off the ground and how slow and short the landing. Congratulations you have done well

Tie down bolt, that looks like a half nut? Fine for it's original use, not the best for putting in tension by tie down loading, or will a longer bolt and full nut be used maybe. It needs grab handles, on both sides, my 7 has them on the LE of the hor stab for "normal" ground handling, but it also has a socket, on top the lower longeron, that accepts another tube that's long enough to stick out both sides (only in place when needed, not flown with). That's for when I need to raise the tail up extra high to clear sage brush or whatever. Starting that low, I can lift it much higher than with the higher handles, a rarely used feature but really handy when needed, especially when ski flying anyway. Yeah, not having all that tail bracing like on the 7 is nice, that's good to good for a few mph extra. It's real fun to do the fine tuning, after all the major work and the sucker is flying!

A lot of crop dusters have locking tailwheels. And when you push the stick full forward it would realise the tailwheel. Sometimes you need it locked!

Brought to you by the GFK Zero Ground Loops Tail Dragger Endorsement School utilizing our two Patented techniques. 1: Land so slowly that the plane has no energy left to ground loop. 2: Avoid all cross winds by landing across the runway as needed. Guaranteed Results!! Sign Up Now!!

Interesting choice on the tailwheel arrangement Todd. So I guess in a strong crosswind taxi, you're pretty much steering with the brakes then? The climb at nearly 18K is outstanding!

Looks great, I would love to hear your panel design thinking. Is that a CGR30? I thought you could get fuel flow on it too? Love the simplicity.

Sweet video, you crack me up, it’s winter and you are flying in our socks….lol. When you are climbing up to 14K, what are your oil temps, CHT temps etc.

G,day from Sydney Australia. Your Badlands STOL is looking very "grey" to say the least. *Only compass in the electric G5? *Do you think spring/shock absorbers are unnecessary for a STOL tail wheel (solid rubber)? *I'd appreciate seeing how easy it is to remove the engine cowl or access the engine. Flight characteristics * Much slip with steep turns? 🇦🇺🌏
