You can sometimes save a little money by subscribing to Titans emails and they often offer sales. Mine have worked great but the biggest load my little tractor can pick up is 500 lbs. They are very handy. Thanks for watching.

Hi, I just came across your video channel the other day as I just purchased a harbor freight trencher and now I am hooked!! You are AWESOME!! Do you live in Sodus Point? I live just west of Rochester. Interested in adopting me as a grandson (-: if I had a grandpa like you I would never go home (not sure if my wife would approve of that :-) You seem like the nicest guy and I love how busy you keep yourself you really know how to enjoy life. I subscribed and will be watching all your videos. Take care and God Bless! Sincerely, Howard

I am south of Sodus. I could use a grandson that liked working outdoors. Mine just play on their x box. When l first got my trencher, I set it up and put a grandson on it. He moved the bucket a little then jumped off to go inside and play games on his tablet. I can't figure out kids these days. Hope your trencher works as good as mine has. They are very handy. Thanks for watching and subscribing.

It would cost $100. Just to buy the steel drops to build them plus supplies so the way I see it someone in China built them for free. They are just light duty, but so is my tractor.

I really like mine too. I usually leave the cross member off, just for ease of taking the forks off and on. Doesn't seem to make a difference in the function. Cheers.

I find it helps keep them from twisting if you hit the side of the pallet when trying to get under it on uneven ground. Thanks for watching.

I have a set. Don't expect them to hold up, when getting close to there capacity. Had mine straightened and welded twice. The problem area is. where they clamp to the bucket. If you pick up ONLY 200 lbs you will be OK. Any more they will spread, where they clamp down; and crack the welds. I used them only to lift small logs; 7-8 foot long and 8 inch diameter.

Mine are still like new. I pick up 500 to 600 pound loads with them all the time. Over 700 pounds the back wheels of my tractor come off the ground and the welds are fine. Contact them if you got a pair with defective welds. Titan makes high quality products and I am happy with everything I have purchased from them so far.

@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 I understand, I wasn't sure what your John Deere 4100 could lift; so I did a search on Tractor Data. The 4100 has less that 1/3 the horsepower than the tractor I was using. HP determines what hydraulic pumps are used on the tractor for hydraulics/lifting. I had them on a tractor with over 3 times the HP and hydraulic pressure= lifting power. You were OK with these clamp on forks, I need a much stronger pair.

When lifting always buy something rated for twice the load you are dealing with at a minimum to be safe. Titan makes amazing affordable products that last if not abused or overloaded.

Thanks for the video. I recently purchased a ballast box from Titan, and it was well made and a good price. I am going to order these forks, based on your review. I have a kubota b7610, with a LA352 loader. Like your Deere, the forks are rated for heavier loads than the FEL, so I should be ok. I wonder if it’s less stress on the bucket, if I also use the chains?
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 5 жыл бұрын
I see no damage to my bucket yet but it is only 4 ft wide and there are reinforcing strips running front to back in the area the forks mount. The hydraulics are also load limited so the further out on the forks you are the less it will lift. I don't know what your tractor will lift but it's probably close to mine and there shouldn't be a issue. Chains would help if you see any signs of stress. Watch for a sale. Thanks for watching.

I get alot of use from them. Make sure your bucket is strong enough because I have seen comments about people being able to bend their bucket with them. Titan had a great sale last week, I don't know if it is still on. They were like 110.00 with free shipping for just the forks.

The one really nice feature is the ability to adjust the width. What do you use your landscape rake for? Mine only seems to work well raking the stone in the driveways. It doesn't do well for branches or piles of leaves/walnuts.
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 7 жыл бұрын
I think it is best to keep them wide where the bucket is the strongest. I only use the rake for final leveling and removing stones from areas that I tear up. The best way I found to deal with walnuts is take the trees down and build furniture from the lumber.
@19Photographer76
@19Photographer76 7 жыл бұрын
Ha! I've done that for 2 of our 3 - 180yr old boys. My wife is totally tired of walnut furniture and I'm still trying to sell some of the lumber. Thanks!

Im sure im 3 years late (and by now you have realised yourself), but you should reverse the crossbar otherwise the handle to set the width will get bashed off as you drive into pallets.

I stopped using the cross bar. Don't really need it with pallets and I put uprights in the pockets to make it safer for unloading tractor trailers. Thanks for watching.

Tractor can only pick up 500 pounds on the forks and no sign of bending yet. Deere makes a strong bucket with a thick wear strip and ribs on the bottom.

Depends on what the bucket floor is made of. I've got a set of these for an EIMCO loader that's got a 1" thick austenitic steel bucket lip and multiple stiffener strips. Little thing is rated to tram 5000lbs.
@dave4854
@dave4854 7 жыл бұрын
the problem with forks fastened to the bucket is that it puts an al full strain on the bucket and lift cylinders , mounting parts of the loader, every foot sticking out from the bucket compounds the weight on the cylinders, I did that to a loader yrs ago and was rebuilding the cylinders ever yr, even broke some factory welds loose. but it was a larger loader and I was loading logs
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 7 жыл бұрын
So far I see no sign of stress with the small loads that I move. This little tractor has a great pressure relief to keep the cylinders from overloading the tractor or themselves. They area great back saver, time will tell. Thanks for watching.

No problem with mine. Do you enter the pallets straight on. and have the round locked on the cutting edge? It would take a lot of side force to break those welds. Thanks for watching.

Now tell the truth. Tell people that they move around and they come off in the midle of the job. I have a Titan pair just like yours. They are heavy but the part that clamps on the Bucket could be longer.

No they can't. The block welded on the back locks behind the cutting bar that sticks down on my bucket. No way they can pull off if the clamp is tight. I love them. Thanks for watching.

Have you done any 500+ pound loads with those forks?
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 6 жыл бұрын
No, I have found about all my tractor can safely lift is about 400 lbs. The load center moves way out with a pallet and it gets tippy even with the weight box. With a bigger tractor they should be able to handle it.
