I hope you guys got a return on investment for that equipment. It’s invaluable, but finding security companies actually willing to pay for this training is tough. Keep up the good work.

We're all about keeping things shipshape. Our officers are trained and well-versed in client policies and legal boundaries, so you can trust we've got it covered when it comes to professionalism and compliance.

The two scenarios were demonstrated, the first started harshly and really unprofessionally and it end up that a force which may not be necessary has to be employed to get the job done. Rough route, smooth route.

It's funny, I've played a online space station simulator as a whitelisted head of security after a few hard months of station security. For years I have trained officers and assistants how to de-escalate situations that range from staff teasing and harassing each other to inside domestic threats, or outside threats that include station damage up to homicide or mass murder. There are always observable levels of action that can escalate or defuse what could be a dangerous situation. It doesn't always play out as we plan, but buy using my training methods, a buddy system, high situational awareness and vigilant radio communication, we usually run a tight station. It's funny, because I have utilized my experience in ways most Senior officers could not even scratch the surface of. I think this is due to laziness and a lack of skill. Education must be a priority.

I would be more effective with live individuals I think. But it looks like it’s good training . My advice get to the point faster , no need to show the bad one . Just teach good .

THAT IS CONSIDERED DEESCALATION???? If you’re yelling at me, I wiould not deescalate…. If you wanted me to Des escalate and I was the offender, then yelling and ordering me around isn’t going to help things…..

Thanks for the feedback. The first example was what not to do, or how something could turn out without de-escalation. The second was how to use verbal skills to de-escalate the situation.

@@ryans0911 ohhhhhhhhhhhh I think I understand now, yea that first one where he pepersprayed the guy where he was yelling at him in the office, that would have made me escalate if I was the offender…. Yelling and ordering is no way to De-escalate.

I see a huge flaw in your training. You don't show cops what not to do, by showing examples of cops escalating situations with calm civilians asking why they are being stopped while driving or filming police. And then being attacked by cops for asking questions. Attempting to teach de-escalation techniques for cops who were thugs (their body language obviously reveals this) long before they became cops is like training to a leopard to stop eating gazelles. This is garbage training that would never work in a million years. Or they would teach it in every school and all school fights between students would all end. How about this? If a cop violates their de-escalation training, you should encourage the victims of police escalation to sue their de-escalation training companies. If your training actually worked. you would knock all of your competitors out of the market.

My issue with de escalation is it's relied on to much. Talking is great but sometimes putting a Glock to a suspects head can de escalate a situation pretty quickly. My point is we shouldn't rely on de escalation as much and use force when needed. If your trying to talk the suspect down and he/she is not responding well to that then you move on to another option often times that's using force. Some people only respond to force.
