I paid cash for my Titon solar panels which included the warranty. If there is a lawsuit, I want to be part of it. If anyone out there has any information on this, please let me know.

Hey there! If we get any news about a lawsuit, we will make an updated video. Unfortunately, when companies go bankrupt, there typically isn't a ton of money to go around. That being said, there will be a liquidation of assets and may have some funds paid to affected homeowners. Another great option is if you live in a state that has a licensing board, such as Arizona's ROC or California's CSLB, they typically have a "contractor recovery fund" that can help pay for damages caused by a bankrupt contractor!

I was wondering the same thing - but I think we would need to 1) get an independent quote on what it would cost to replace the warranty, 2) attend the creditor's meeting (deets in the letter you probs got) 3) then file a claim for the amount of the replacement warranty - after they get through the initial proceedings 4) cross fingers and wait. At least that is what I am going to try to do. Of course, someone could buy em cheap (and assume warranty) or Titan could reorg under BK and honor it (unlikely but weirder things have happened).

I need to figure out what to do here, I had two separate systems installed by them here in Phoenix. Solar Edge has the inverters under warranty that I switched over to but it doesn't cover labor or the panels... I'm so screwed at the moment.

Titan Solar is having a zoom call 8/5/24 for Creditors. Also do you all do services in Houston, TX? I had two separate installs with them and need to get a warranty. I don't have any leaks but in case of an issue that may occur, I'd like to covered.
