Wonderful, just wonderful! The TIE Defender strafe run cinematic shots were fantastic in how they showcased the grand scale of the Eclipse. Also, because of these two Eclipse vs Executer fights, a thought occurred to me. Is there some ship hitpoint(s) that can be targeted to disable the Eclipse's superweapon? If not, The Eclipse would need only nominal fleet support to prevent a loss.

Two executor dreadnaughts could easily defeat this ship, and if you have a well sized fleet you can hyperspace ships on the flanks of the eclipse. Its not as difficult to kill as an executor, because it lacks the firepower of the SSD and heavily relies on its main weapon.

GEN Solo: Alright kids, you heard the info, so I'll keep this brief. Remnants Imperial navy has fallen, by Zann Consortium's stolen Super Star Destroyer. Bothan spy got info of that SSD. It containes Broadside Superlaser, that destroy ISD at single shot. That's right, smaller - weaker version of Death Star II. Remnant Imperial officier on Kuat sent us an info of that monster's blueprint. From here, Admiral Ackbar will brief you. Admiral? Admiral Ackbar: That monster that GEN Solo called is Eclipse, Emperor's planned flagship. It isn't fully constructed, but Eclipse has 95 percent of construction, then Tyber Zann took it and modified it. Good news is, fighter hanger modification made to remove turbolaser, and superlaser charging time takes too long not like Death Star II. So our tactics is: just broadside it, with two stolen Executor class ship "Lusankya" and "Reaper". with those two monsters' coverage, launch all of our capital ships we have - Mediator, MC90s, stolen ISD, Republic Star Destroyer, and all fighters we have, make hole to Superlaser Reactors and destroy it. Eclipse has more than two bridges, might not be neutralized even we destroyed main bridge, so that's our only chance to destroy. Already sent details to your leaders so check that out. Dismiss.

I can see this battle happening, at least some time after the Eclipse is fully built, and tested let alone in the hands of Tyber zann. the Eclipse could cause some real damage to both the Empire and the Rebellion. though it would paint a HUGE target on the back of the Consortium.

So the length and width is in every case to scale, while the structure on the ship is to scale or a bit off, it depends on which model you choose as canon.

Venator SD: 1137m long Impstar (Ace and Deuce): 1600m long Allegiance Battlecruiser: 2.2km long Executor: 19km long Eclipse: 17.5km long (wookiepedia) That's the canon stats of those 5 sd variants, and the ones most agreed upon. And while there's a 1.5km difference between the executor and the eclipse classes, that difference actually isn't that much. To be fair, the Viscount-class Star Defender (mfg. Mon Calamari Shipyards) is shorter than the Eclipse by roughly 500m (wookiepedia), so you seeing the executor as being shorter isn't actually that far-fetched for an optical illusion. Imagine seeing the Viscount pitted against the Eclipse and trying to spot their 500m difference with the camera being miles away and always at odd angles.

I don't want to sound critical in any stretch of the imagination, but what if the dome things that allow the Eclipse to fire were destroyed? I feel like it's death lazer would either fail to work or should take longer to fire with each dome destroyed.

Kiaran Fouche Those have nothing to do with the Superlaser apparatus. They’re gravity well generators. They prevent ships from just running away into hyperspace

Hello, I think that it would be kinda more logical if the eclipse super weapon had a damage point, because first, right now it is basically unbeatable in the game and secondly, in reality if constantly fire at one of the parts of the super weapon it should eventually break.

Wow that’s a bright explosion. Wait why I see an asteroid field that is typical of when the Death Star destroys a planet, the ssd explosion was so powerful to destroy the planet or is a bug, I say the second option

Roccaraso Those aren't asteroids, they're small explosions that you can see through the bigger one. That glitch can happen when there are too many effects clustered together.
