As a kid, we were all easily impressed by any attempt to create an immersive atmosphere. Titanfall gave me that feeling of awe as an adult. The sounds, the mechanics, the inclusion of bots and human players fighting alongside each other truly made this game standout amongst a very crowded field. Just as I thought I'd never get that same feeling of awe, I heard "pilot, ready for titan fall!"

the closest fix i had to TF2 in my time personally was Hyperscape when the server were still accurate. It was way more on the unique powers side and no titans but the gameplay loop also had incredible potential.

It's funny, people thought apex took away the chance of a titanfall 3, but in reality, apex kind of paved a way for titanfall 3 to come back. In a way, titanfall 3 is needed right now. Cod players hate MWII and warzone 2, apex is stale af rn, same with fortnite, halo is dead, pubg is dead, there's no advanced movement shooters, and there's nothing like the titans. RIGHT NOW would be the best time to drop titanfall 3. Compared to the worst launch date of a game ever with tf2. Tf3 should release right now, in the drought of mp games

I got your feeling, especially with how they let you interact with bt along the game. You can try rpg games, a lot have heavy mechanics about character's interactions and it makes for very emotional moment too (one mentionned Mass Effect above, it has sci fi and military themes if you are interested)

Scorch is my personal favourite titan, his skill combinations can one shot most other titans and can even get two titans at once, his high risk high reward play style where you have to come close to the enemy might often end with self destruction but damn it feels good to erase several enemy titans in a couple of seconds

Unfortunately releasing it between Battlefield and COD was a massive mistake on their publishers and advertising teams. Idk why they would release such a great game during the flurries of FPS titans as they almost always released Oct-Nov to get the holiday sales. Man I'm super excited there are people playing again! As someone that really got into FPS games with the golden age of arena shooters, especially Unreal Tournament, this is one of the best games ever released. If you dont TFII, you dont KNOW what flow state is!
