During "the beacon" there are 2 titans that are burnt to a crisp just outside the beacon station, one of them actually has the name monarch and BT even points out that particular Titan, mentioning that they performed well during the fracture operation

Monarch's also appear to follow the original 3-tier programming. When activating Guard Mode for Monarch, the AI is audible saying "Engaging Guard Mode, Protocol Three." And when under heavy fire, the Monarch AI warns you about "Protocol Two, Uphold the Mission." So I'd say it's safe to assume the IMC did copy that part of Monarch's programming as well.

In the Monarch titan briefing, in the bottom left corner, it will say Monarch. But at the end it switches to Northstar. If you go to Northstar she has the nose art Project Monarch, and on the factory issue nose are there is a number combination. Maybe that is like a code or something to get more info?

At the beginning of the Trial By Fire campaign mission, there are 2 Titans visible off to the right side who are branded 'Monarch'. They are beyond all the rocks to your right and walk inside the IMC base before the front wall is blown up. This seems to contradict the FNN post though...or does it? Perhaps the IMC captured some vanguard chassis before that mission occurs. I can't quite make sense of it.

I don't think it's a bug Tim, it almost seems that the Monarch Titans waltz into the IMC base with zero resistance.(Yes I know the Monarchs and Vanguard look identical) Also, I had a friend who hasn't updated Titanfall 2 since launch double check the mission to see if the name was still the same. So, either Respawn intended to add Monarch to the game since day 1, or there is no connection between the campaign details and the Monarch's Reign DLC.

On every titan when you eject (Regardless of your faction) the titan's panel/screen could say Protocol 3, ejecting pilot, protect the pilot, ect. It sometimes says other stuff but every titan says "Core critical eject" to the pilot when it is in a doomed state, that proves that all titans in the multiplayer has the three protocols regardless of the faction being IMC, militia or a random mercenary group.

The regular monarch is based on Sarah's titan, MAYBE BT comes as the Prime. A mad, violent, corrupted BT due to IMC's attempts to reprogram BT's data core

They'd probably have to kill Jack and yank his helmet off to get BT, BT is shown to have "survived" within Jacks helmet at the end of the credits, the helmet flickers, however it is moors code for "J A C K" and indeed not flickering, BTs last chassis and the core within it was "removed" from the Titanfall universe on Typhoon.

I think that bt's data core survived the arc's explosion and was salvaged, because the monarchs 3 protocols are the same as bt's protocols. This also supports the theory that bt's core is funtional as proven by the final cutscene of titanfall were he sends a message to Jack's helmet.

There are a few different Vanguard chassis you can find broken through out the campaign so I think it could be BT’s upper half (minus the left arm) with the bottom half (and right arm) of a different one you can find broken

Put the video at 0.25 speed... If you look closely just after the ball turns *completely* white, at 4:01, you can see something flying out the ball to the bottom right of it.... Well Titanfall 3 has sort of been unofficially confirmed so that may be BT... BT definitely survives as at the end of the credits if you complete the campaign on the hardest difficulty you get a clip of Jacks helmet flashing.. The flashes when translated into mores code read: "Jack?" And remember when you're on the time traveling mission? BT says how he uploaded himself to your helmet?? BT can be recovered...

Well, not really. The only way we know a Titan AI can be inserted into a chassis is with a data core, which is destroyed. BT's chassis doesn't exist anymore, either. Yes, he passed through the ark, but got caught in the explosion less than a second later

The thing is, at the end of the credits, there is an Easter egg where Jack's helmet flashes in Morse code: Jack, so therefore the FS chassis and BT's datacore could have, theoretically survived. Therefore, it is possible that the burned vanguard chassis were the two that BT had inhabited.

We are the pilots - not the titan owners. Our contractors (factions) actually manage our titans. You don't get them for granted tho, so once on a battlefield you have to prove your worth (build the titan/core meter) before you can receive titanfall of your choice. Then, they drop it from the orbit.

It's really not. Pilots are an elite force, and not everyone can become one - Cooper from the SP campaign became one on a field due to lack of other options. Actually, Pilots are valued more than Titans since it's harder to train them than to create a new titan. Exept Ares, they use half trained (assed) pilots and medicore stock titans, and that is why BT-7274 seems so OP. And we, Mercs, in MP are getting the same stock titans to fight in. They are cheap, but do the job, ho are weaker than original Ogre, Atlas or Stryder (Hamond Dynamics design), or Vanguard (original Militia design). And since the resources we fight over in Frontier give a lot of profit to our contractors, way more than the cost of our titans we are being rewarded with ones.

My theory is that it took the upper half of bt because it still has his rockets but since it was burnt and rebuilt, it was remade or changed to a spread of rockets instead of locking. I think why they don’t have three batteries anymore is because of the mercenaries. The factions wouldn’t just give the mercenaries overpowered stuff so they modified the vangard titan chassis and moved the battery slot in the top like other titans and removed the side batteries. I think they would have removed this is because since the two vanguard titans are burned i think it would have over powered it since they can upgrade themselves anyway. The monarch is it’s own titan, it has many different features, when you play campaign and enter bt or “embark” he lights up but when you enter ion to monarch they don’t light up. I feel it is possible that the vanguard is putting their status to pilot mode but way stronger due to the fact that the vanguard was able to switch titan classes and had a huge advantage in the game i feel. That piloting would make vanguard superior tot he other titans. Sorry for my bad english 😂

BT-7274 and F5-1041 were not the only vanguards down there, here's the support: *In Blood and Rust you help other titans on your way that are vanguards *When the planet went boom it wasn't 100% destroyed, there were still chunks of it floating relatively close to the each other, and the IMC would have been investigating as soon as possible, so they would have found BT's original chassis and one other vanguard near Kane's facility

Vision Dynamics actually is independed merc tech lab faction, tho usually they work for the IMC since they pay more. Also, Monarch fits both the butterfly and a ruler. Kind of a word play ^_^ She is supposed to be on the backlines supporting the others, which gives her a vision on a battlefield and fits her theme as a commander (monarch). Also, she is evolving just like a butterfly.

BT didn't die because at the end of the credits Cooper's helmet was flickering, that is the Titan link between the SRS helmet and BT. So BT was alive probably both chassis were badly burned and badly damaged​ meaning the IMC salvaged the two chassis of BT.(they also probably got rid of the data core to BT).

Yeah monarch follows the 3 protocols, because when your getting engaged by multiple titans she will say “I recommend we take evasive maneuvers and uphold the mission” and when your ejecting there’s a message that says “ protocol 3 protect the pilot” and when you first embark she says “linking to pilot” which is protocol 1.

In "Blood and Rust" mission, you hear Kane telling you he hopes you will be better than the last vanguard he killed. And if he uses scorch, it would make sense that he burns titans, so this could be the other burnt titan.

Considering that the multiplayer battles occur after the single player on the timeline, it is possible that the planet of Typhon was not completely destroyed by the Ark, just the area around where it detonated. This could explain how BT's original burnt chassis could be recovered by the IMC, as well as how multiplayer matches occur within the wreckage of the Macallan and other sites located on the planet Typhon, a feat that wouldn't be plausible if the planet was destroyed.

Hey tea cup I know how monarch was made if this makes sense. Monarch was made from 2 highly burned vanguard class titans. They were BT-7274 and FS-1041. Apex predators went back and grabbed the peices of FS. They remade BT and named it monarch. If that makes sense. Respawn could have used the "2 badly burnt vanguard class titans" as a cover up as what I said.

If you watch the monarch briefing, at the end of the video, at the bottom left corner, it says northstar instead of monarch. And northstar has nose art called “Project Monarch”. So Vision dynamics probably used the northstar as a base for the monarch, or the monarch is made with most parts of a northstar.

There is both of BT's chassis, but there's also all those other Vanguard titans in "Trial by Fire." wouldn't be surprised if those burnt chassis was from a scorch or exiting the atmosphere at high speeds when Typhon blew up.

When you set a monarch to guard mode its will sometimes say "protocol 3" so maybe mercenary titans, or at least monarch's have the protocols

I agree about BT's second chassis, but the first chassis has to be one of the two. The fold weapon didn't blow up the planet, it just ripped it apart. The chassis would survive. The second chassis could be one of the dead titans during the raid when you try to get the ark. Interesting theory though.

In the second mission with Kane, blood and rust he mentions killing another SRS pilot, and tea cup did mention it was bably burnt, as if it was scorched by thermite...

at the very end of the games credits we se s filicering light inside of coopers helmet, posibly hinting that bt's second chassis (whatever it was called) survived the blast along with its link, this flash could have come from a reactivetion by viston dynamics as a test and then a quick shutdown as the titan became aware of its surroundings and hostile.

Potentially for the monarch At the Kane fight, we're shown an SRS pilot being executed by Kane, with Kane saying "You were not invited to Kane's party, and that's why you're dead!" And we know the pilot is SRS because we can see the wreck of his vanguard. And of course Kane uses a certain, fire-based titan; Scorch. Which means that the second burned-out vanguard could have been that one, with the other being BT's original chassis

Kane mentions killing a vanguard class titan and srs pilot over the intercom in blood and rust, and since Kane uses scorch, this might be referencing that pilot, especially because he has ties to Vinson and we don’t see a vanguard in the titan arena.

Even though it’s late to this, I have a bit of evidence to support this of it being BT, when you put you Monarch on guard mode, she might say “Guard mode activated, Protocol 2” and when on follow mode, “Follow mode engaged, Protocol 3”.

i think that the FS version of BT was teleported into another time before, since the fold weapon is a time weapon, and they found it and started development a time before, maybe at ash's factory, and that chassis was not functional but they could use the frame. then they pulled the BT we love who died by burning like you said. then because he wasn't distorted because of time travel, the other BT we use throughout the campaign had functional parts what vinson dynamics replaced.

So, my guess is that during the battle of typhon, Sara Briggs's ship was shot down after you defeat Viper the first time. After you think that he's dead by losing control of his titan, BT tries to throws you to the ship, Viper uses his Flight Core to take down ships, and Sara was quite close to know what was going on, so the flight core shot down Sara, so her titan was most likely destroyed, plus you have to call in support to get your titan off planet, so the two titans were Sara's titan and BT

The chassis has nothing to do with the message. Its the SERE kit and the BT eye (database) that controls its signals and such

I have a theory about what happened to BT's second chassis: in the mission that first involves time travel, it is said that those brief moments are caused by a massive amount of energy that was discharged when the weapon first fired, however the first weapon that was fired was the smaller version of the weapon, BT flew into the center of the bigger version of the weapon. It is possible that BT traveled back in time and the IMC recovered the chassis which would still be burned because at the end of the game BT looked like he was in "doomed state" which makes the outside of a Titan look burned. It's possible that the IMC salvaged 2 unseen Vanguard titans that you haven't seen through the game, and made some role based modifications as it's cheaper and easier to mass produce than the multi loadout version

I agree that one of the Vangaurd chassis may have been BT, specifically the one Slone destroyed, but FS-1041's chassis has no chance of surviving (in my opinion) because the fold weapons explosion messing up Typhon the way it did would definitely disintegrate FS-1041. I think that the second chassis may have come from one of the random vanguard in the mission Trial by Fire.

I believe it was the 2 titan chassis, remember that they are built also specifically to take incredibly heavy hits, and yes, the arc can destroy entire planets, but BT might not have been so close, its just the perspective. And after the battle of Typhon, if BTs w chassis hadn't survived, neither would any titans there.

It could have been bt 7274 and Sarah Brigs Titan combined and upgraded with survivability and supporting roles and options for the uses of the vinson dynamics and then was put on the black market due to Pilot Mercenaries working for all known sides.

My theory is when you titan fall to destroy the IMC's "wall", if I remember correctly there are some vanguard titans there. After the battle it was just CMDR Briggs and you. The IMC did have scorches!

It kinda makes sense. Two Vanguard titans, AKA both of BT’s chassis. That also like to the Easter egg at the end of the credits, where BT sends morse code to jack. It’s an oddly specific detail that there were strictly ‘two’, but it makes sense if BT’s second chassis was crippled and burnt in the explosion, but still barely survived. But hey, that’s just a theory. A game theory.

I think it was probably both of the chassis that BT used, but during the mission where you fight through the IMC base there might have been some vanguard class titans fighting and all titans seem to blow up and become badly burnt once they lose all of their doomed health so who knows.

All Titans have the same main protocols. If you have auto-eject on, the message can sometimes be “Protocol 3”

A little late to the party, but when you drop in with a monarch titan, it (sometimes?) says "Protocol 1: Uphold the mission". So either these are very basic protocols on all titans, or they also salvaged sone of the AI-functions, which would make BT's old chassis not suitable as a source, as it didn't have a data core after the battle

The first chassis could have been loaded onto Blisks escape shuttle before the explosion, after BT's second chassis throws Cooper out of the fold weapon it could simultaneously dropp a particle wall on the jettisoned core to cover it for a moment to do a phased flight from the epicenter and avoided absolute destruction while protected by a vortex shield or thermal shield after the phase jump, his chassis was later found by IMC forces floating in space and in the process of reverse engineering the mind in the Mech BT was able to hack into IMC mainframe to contact Jack... He is trying to inform him of their new plans to decimate the resistance with new forms of emergent technology that include a new colossus enemy mech/battleship and a nanite infection that enslaves its host to the will of the IMC mainframe and the agenda of its masters. Gonna be a serious space battle comin up. Jack Cooper is definitely gonna need some buddies to help on the next campaign.
