I believe the reason couls have been that many people who said it broke in half said it broke at different parts of the ahip, and were not consistent, another contributor could have been that they refused that the pride of british ship-building could break in half, and many senior officers claimed she sank intact.

​@@William_AftonReal-------No a survivor did not, a survivor described to someone the breakup, and that someone drew the picture. Not the survivor. The reason why that someone drew a v break is because he thought the breakup point would be underwater, and no one would see that it broke, so he made the bow a different angle from the stern. He wasn't sure how it broke.

That's not what Ballard's theory looks like... His theory showed the second funnel completely submerge still standing, as well as the third funnel almost fully-submerged when the breakup occurred. And about your theory, the bow section would sink immediately after the breakup, since it's full of water. It also does not explain multiple accounts of the ship being submerged past the third funnel and standing at a high angle when the breakup occurred. However, I do like the stern dipping back a bit after rising post-break - most people don't include that.

By the way, the reason the stern dipped back was because the stern finally disconnected from the bow, but that theory is now outdated, I have a new theory, its in my newest video (Cold Atlantic)

You know that means a lot to me, but I found out that it isn't so accurate, the bow was pulling the stern down in my animation, but a comment told me that wasn't the case, and the stern sunk all by itself.

with physics and other theories existing, yours is good, just mentioning the bow should go underwater during the breakup, the ship should list to a side and the stern probably shouldve not paused. what is another mistake is that there should be a top cant performed and the galley decks needs to fall. also, good job you got the fourth funnel collapsing correct and the third funnel collapses first, (even though it probably did not fall off)

I think your theory is correct, but i think it split between the 3rd and 4th funnel. I also think the 3rd funnel collapsed because the split was almost completely underneath it. Then I think as the stern was going down, the 4th funnel collapsed.

However that's innacurate. The 3rd funnel collapsed because stress from the breakup was right under it, and it collapsed. The 4th funnel didn't have as much stress. Th 4th funnel broke because the sinking was so fast after the breakup that the 4th funnel fell backwards as water pushed it aft.
