There would actually be some type of exhaust coming out of the fourth funnel, as it was also used to vent gasses from the kitchens and the cabins. On the Lusitania and Mauretania, the odd-looking pipes on the deck would vent the gas instead.

This would be amazing in a museum. Cut it in half and add enough resin between them to accurately show the depth of the wreck below the surface. The before model could be at the top of a flight if stairs. Then as you go down the stairs around the model tower you could have other points that show how heights of skyscrapers etc in comparison all the way to the bottom.

I love how you payed attention to the last chimney! For everyone who doesn't know: The last chimney was only for decoration since ships with 4 chimneys were quite popular. It only contained some ventilators for the vent system onbord the ship.

the 4th funnel was actually only *partially* cosmetic; it served many important functions, including ventilation for the galley stoves, lavatories, turbine engine room, and even the smoking room fireplace, as well as other machinery spaces. it also housed an important crew passage.

I have done a similar model that splits and reconnects with lego pieces attached inside it i didnt do it the way you did , i instead cut everything seperately with scissors and it worked perfectly . And it still works to this day , i planned on putting deck spaces in but i realised it they were getting in the way instead so i dropped the idea

Eventhough I can't support the channel via Patreon, but I voted in favor of this video. The thumbnail really tells it all in a way about the great ship. It was a terrible disaster, but guys like you really know how to make things easier for the family members of the over 1500 souls that lost their lives on that fateful night in 1912. I did see 2 large scale models of the ship. Once when she was on the surface and the second one was when she foundered. Great work!
