@rafanellys Well, it wasn't a "dummy". It was for ventilation of the lower decks, and to make the ships look better. I admit it was not for the same purpose as the other three, but it wasn't just there for no reason.

@@davidchalmers2504 The number of chimneys (3 + 1) was supposed to give the appearance of the power and speed of the ship (something like tuning). It's the same as having someone install another exhaust on their car without requiring engine power. No less, the last chimney on the Titanic was used for ventilation and service purposes, so it had a function, unlike another exhaust in the car as part of tuning. I also appreciate that the author of the diorama thought of this essential detail.

I'm in awe... I really love the idea that it's in a chest. It is "buried" away at the bottom of the sea, but you can still have a sneak peek, before that happened. This really makes me want to run to the craft store and make dioramas. Your art never seizes to amaze me!

Beautifully done my only recommendation is to paint the inside black. It will prevent the light showing through spots that aren't the port holes. Some of the details on the top are lost because of the light shining through. Painting the inside black would help with that a lot.

Well done on bringing a piece of history to life, I think it looks better than James Cameron's version 😄 In all seriousness though, it really does help put into perspective what happened on that awful night. Watching you put this together was both intriguing and sad at the same time as you are reconstructing a disaster that really did happen. This is absolutely amazing! Seriously that is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time. You just built that beautiful model from nothing but an old chest.. I am probably one of the biggest Titanic obsessed nerds you’d ever meet, and this just impressed the hell out of me. You should see some of the models at the Titanic Exhibit here in Las Vegas, where I live. They’re pretty awesome. One of the models is about 8 feet long in a giant plastic case!

That is a seriously detailed and beautifully made diorama! I admit I may have gotten a bit teary-eyed while watching. The porthole in the chest and the flickering LED lights was a nice touch. Glad you also only used the cotton to form steam coming through only three funnels and not the fourth since the fourth was simply decoration and non-functional on the real Titanic. A lot of people miss that detail.

fourth wasnt for decoration, it was used as ventilation for the turbine room and many other rooms on the ship including the few fireplaces that worked. was also used as easy access for many areas for the Stuarts

Carefully chosen music, well detailed, ( except for the lifeboats, which by that time the ship was in that position almost all the boats were lowered) and then that final touch of professional filming! Absolutely the most beautiful thing I've seen ! The last part made me feel like I was there, and even when the lights went out, it made me feel emotional, remembering the souls lost that night including the ship aswell. You my friend are one of those few youtube artists that know how it's done. Congrats and keep it up! :)

Second detail is the smoke from the first funnel. The boiler rooms 5 and 6 that fed the first funnel were flooded by now, there would be no smoke coming from it.
