Yes, very easy, almost so easiest than make a child grow into an adult, that man is a joker, they have an A55HOL3 bigger than Grand Canyon, that farm is one of the worst in the videogame history, that takes me around 10 hours to get a unique Slab, I get more than 400 Chunks before drops a sigle Slab (5+ hour to get 99 in the hand and 99 in the chest, and another 5+ hour to the Slab drop)...

You are lucky, I got 99+99 (hand and chest), and maybe another 300+ before gets a unique Slab, that costs me around 10 hours of farming for only one Slab...

I usually go for a week or two just to see one. The dupe is inconsistent and makes no sense so I’m just mad.

Every 13 to 14 trips and you'll still only get 1 slab

It's faster to go through the Dark Root Basin bonfire, down the elevator to Valley of Drakes. You just run past the drakes with your shield up. Takes about four and a half minutes per run, whereas from Firelink it takes a little over 6. Might seem like a small difference, but it adds up with how many times you have to do the run. Also, I can't confirm this with actual numbers, but I've found I usually get a drop the less I run in a single day. I don't know if there's a client counter that tracks, but I've never gotten more than one in a single day. I usually run the route while listening to a youtube video, and stop after I get a drop, which usually takes less than ten times.

@@NemesisHUN And actually I read a few reddit threads by people who did the wiki, and it seems like I'm slightly correct about the drop rate. Because the randomness is simulated, there are high batch drops, since the game can't actually perform truly random calculations. As a result, you can kind of get a sense for whether a slab will drop based on whether you are getting lots of chunks and dark hand drops. If you're not getting both, you can come back later to test where the game is at in it's RNG, at which point you should be able to get about two slab drops pretty quickly.

@@River_StGrey Took me around 30 runs to get one slab (x11 = 330 kills). But I think you might be onto something. I had chunks as normal....then quite a few Dark Hands (6) over two runs (say run 14-15) - then no hands until run 24 - then 4 more Dark hands then a blank period where no chunks dropped for a run or two, then a Slab from the Wraith behind the illusory wall at around run 30.....so I may play that area less to see if its time based as you say. Was thinking of getting the DLC (have to purchase on Xbox 360 now as removed from XB1/Series X store) but it only has 1 guaranteed drop in a boss area)....so not sure whether the DLC would help get more? Sadly I did the Onion guys quest perfectly until he got poisoned so lost a Slab there....

I got this in mt 7th Run best thing to do is to wear Covetous Gold Serpent Ring and have 10 Humanity which will boost your item discovery to 410 (this is the highest your item discovery can be) hope this helps guys good luck

I cant believe this working in the remastered i usually farm titanite slab like this in the original ds1 but in the remastered i got 70 chunk and 0 slab.

Slab drop rates in this game are ridiculous and in the original game too, it was a terrible game desing choice for slabs to have such a low rate, people just dupe this things instead of farming them only because its SO TEDIOUS to farm for just 1 slab AND THERE ARE 4 TYPES OF SLABS IN THIS GAME

Finishing up my very first playthrough of DS1 on Switch. Thanks for the guide, though I likely will not use it. I'd almost prefer trying to speedrun the game glitchless and get some slabs each run than spend hours upon hours farming stuff like slabs. But then again, I'm an offline player (for now), so my goals are probably different. I mean, I have farmed around 58 Titanite Chunks (and the other colors a little less) from Kiln of the First Flame, and I had fun with that by swapping weapons, roleplaying in different gear, etc. But I want to move on from even that before I overdo one section of the game. Not sure why I did it if I won't use the stuff enough in subsequent NG+ playthroughs. I'm on Switch too, and I want to get a PC to play a lot of the other games, so that makes my efforts at farming all the more unenticing to me without that more permanent online component + save backups.

Been farming here for 3 hours straight. Got about 50 titanite chunks and no slabs at all. Wated like 30 homeward bones...

What i dont get is why people use Homeward Bones. Its just 500 wasted souls. I swear the amount of times i teleported back to the bonefire was enough to get 8-9 levels (if you add up the cost of Homeward Bones) and use the Homeward Spell instead that you now can use infinetly with 18 faith. Best spell in the game.

@@SaithMasu12 500 souls is nothing, that's why. Plus it's a lot easier to just warp back and it can save your ass pretty easily sometimes. Also some people dont wanna put a point into faith because they're focusing on something else. 500 souls is nothing

@@SaithMasu12 Dude. Homeward Bones are useful for most people, maybe not for you. Get over it. They helped me a ton of times and I have 72 of them and try to keep a high number. It doesnt cost a lot...

@@dam4253 Of course they are useful.Didnt deny that. But if you teleport back to the bonfire often, you instead use those souls to level up faith and get homeward. That way you teleport for free and never need to run back to a merchant or buy with souls. I could perfectly play with the Bone. But you would understand how much it stacks up after a while. 500 isnt much. But it will matter if we talk in the millions and in higher levels you need millions of souls.

Alapból olyan kevés, hogy 1% alatt van, de ha felturbózod az item discovery-det 410-re (gold serpent ring + 10 felhasznált humaniy) akkor egy laza délután alatt 4-5 is kieshet. Nekem tegnap óta 7 db lett, így már ki tudom maxolni az összes felszerelésem. :)
