Am fighting the flu and am at home recuperating-found your lecture on KZbin. I graduated with a Mat Sci degree in 1984, and it was amazing watching you take your students through the principles of crystal structure, phase transitions, and subsequent physical properties. You made me feel about 30 years younger!

Fascinating! Thank you for posting this. I love chemistry and physics, but I have an attention/reading problem; therefore, videos such as this one help me by allowing me to watch several times and absorb everything. As well, you seem like an excellent lecturer: interesting, patient, well-spoken.

Sir with due respect it is pertinent to mention that titanium alloys used in aerospace and missile technology can not work better than tungsten alloy with the amalgamation of mercury and gold though the fatigue and creep resistant properties of titanium alloys but not better than alloy mentioned above

Titanium also used a lot in Medical and Industry Area, it has different titanium grades with different standards.

Sir u said that Ti burns when it comes in contact with another metal, so does Al also burns???

+Renga Sainath I don't know about aluminium, but at high temperatures, a titanium fire can occur if it rubs against something.
