It has been over 10 years since I have purchased a welder. I have heard nothing but good things about the Titanium Flux 125 from my good buddy Ricky. All I got to say Ricky you were right! This little unit is a champ! Zero buyers remorse!

I've had my Titanium 125 for about 10 months and have been totally impressed. I work mostly with 1/8"-1/4" stuff, homeowner projects and agricultural equipment and car haulers. Using INE .030 & .035" wire this little machine has never failed to get the job done and I've never hit the Duty cycle even on hot summer days in the Alabama heat. I can attest to its abilities with heavier stuff up to 1/4", but it's nice to see it can throttle back and offer the controllability and finesse needed with lighter materials. Great review, thanks!

The tip on flaring out the exhaust to butt-weld was awesome, thank you very much. Unfortunately, I had gotten pretty good at stitch welding because I was burning so many holes when trying to butt-weld before your tip. Now I aim the wire "into" the flare (Almost parallel to the exhaust tube). I'm using what I have left of the harbor freight garbage, but have a spool of ITE which I used before and liked quite a bit. I also dig your table, I went out today and bought a bunch of patio stones to do the same thing. I was welding on the concrete and having the workpiece up higher and being able to sit really helps. I'm using a Fourney 140 welder (inverter based), which I think is similar to yours. Much lighter than the old transformer based ones.

NICE! 👍 Gotta have one with hotrods. I got me a little 110v 90 amp. Flux core MIG welder. It's good for anything up to 1/4". So it works for what I do with hotrods. With sheet metal it helps to quench the weld with a wet sponge, and a bowl of water. It cuts down on warping of the sheet metal.

I have this welder. I’m a diy welder youtube taught. This welder is great! So light. Can bring it with you anywhere. Doesn’t blow out a 110 outlet and you can use Home Depot or Lowe’s Lincoln electric .30 or .35 wire easily. Get a bigger heavy duty ground clamp and this thing will weld anything. Ive welded 5 or 6 car rim firepits with ease and many exhaust mufflers and tips. I love this this thing. !

I have been strongly considering learning to weld and based on many videos, including this one, I'm leaning towards picking up one of these for doing mower deck repairs and stuff like that. Thanks for the video and demonstrating it with thinner material. One of the projects that I am thinking about is replacing the plastic deflector piece on the mower deck which is pretty much destroyed at this point with a homemade metal one that should hold up better to the rough Missouri ground I mow on. It's roughly 5 acres on a gentle hill and is not smooth at all.

I bought this welder a few months ago to supplement my bigger models for when I couldn’t really get them where I needed them. For 3/16” and below, a single pass works well, once you get the hang of it, if you’re new to welding. You can even do 1/4” and 5/16” if you properly use multi pass, which is surprising. I found that using their wire worked pretty well. It’s really not bad. The manual is actually useful, particularly to new welders. It shows what good welds should look like, and explains what the problems are when they don’t. I recommend reading it, and keeping it close at hand. Try not to breath in the smoke, as it’s really bad for us.

The delay in the fan turning off when you kill the power switch is likely NOT due to a timer, thermostat or some such. Instead, it's likely because it takes a few seconds for the large electrolytic capacitors in the power supply inside the welder to discharge. This is a common behavior in switch-mode power supplies.

This little welder is a awesome mild steel unit. I did some frame and strut tower work on a mustang with it. But for the life of me I cannot weld stainless with it. I havent tried new clean stainless though. I thought about trying the blue devil stainless flux but there aren't many reviews on it and its a bit pricey for wire.
@jasonholloway2476

I also own a titanium easy flux 125, and I did the research on the Blue Devil stainless steel wire. The wire needs to be run on DCEP polarity, the 125 runs on DCEN polarity. I haven't done the research if the work lead and the gun lead can be reversed, but I know it's not as plug-and-play play as a higher dollar welder would be.

It can be that your work is not grounded to complete the circuit. Or you didn't plug in the machine. Or the wire isn't feeding. Most likely pilot error. But you can return it to Harbor Freight for exchange, they are pretty good that way.

Also Great wire to use is INE made in Italy off of Amazon great price eve works better Lincoln wire. On mine i also upgraded the ground clamp to better n stronger Them 3 cheap upgrades perfect no problems.

@@topdragster365w Residential wiring for 15 amp circuit breaker uses 14 gauge wire. 20 amp circuit uses thicker, less resistant 12 gauge wire. When you "upgrade" to 20 amp from 15 without upgrading the circuit wire to match it, you create fire hazard.
