I had a titanium watch I loved it. It was not the most scratch resistant but it was very light. The problem with titanium is when you need a battery they will destroy it. I told the guy to be gentle it was just titanium he broke it. For some reason when people get hands on titanium they try to destroy it. Titanium is fantastic when used where it is appropriate it gets bad press because people treat it like waspalloy or alloy x.

Nice video! I own a few titanium watches (a Tudor Pelagos, Ming 17.01, and Seiko Samurai). Overall I greatly prefer ti over steel in larger tool watches. My Samurai, in particular, is remarkably light for its size, and my Pelagos (which is ti but has a steel clasp and caseback) is still fairly massive, but far lighter than it would be in steel. My Ming is less noticeably different from steel due to its much smaller case, but I see no real ill effects from it being ti. I have owned a few titanium bikes over the years (a Moots VaMoots and Serotta ATi), and love it as a bike frame material as well!

Very enlightening. And what a beautiful array of gorgeous titanium watches. Eye candy overload. Love it! I had been wondering how, on Casio's recent Oceanus models like the, apparently very popular and well received, OCW-S100, the titanium appears so 'white' (or steel or silver-like; not very grey). Now I believe it absolutely must be grade 5. I have an OCW-M700 watch incoming. They look a little bit darker in some pictures. I wonder whether titanium has a tendency to darken, over a period of years, as the M700 is from 2006.
