This ‘sub-style’ of tai chi is more focused on the practical aspect of the practice, it’s in the style name itself: Chen style practical method (or Hong school of Chen style)
I use too practice this but never knew the application how to put into self defense

I don't think it will work in this way. Hitting your opponent doesn't win you the fight , real fighters train to take hit.

@@Llucius1 yes your spot on I went to see if it would help me to destress after work I have also trained in boxing and takwondo and karate I still do bare knuckles planks on a wooden floor and punch the heavy bag bare knuckles every day my age 70yr old from Scotland

@@alexblue6991 Well , I am sure Tai Chi have a way more profound benefit on balancing stress than fighting. I believe it is just a matter of time people realize how useful Tai Chi is , yet at this moment I wouldn't want to disclose much. As fighting art is more and more analyse , Tai Chi will be a thing.
