That’s Robin’s character tbh. He wants to be way less forgiving than Batman but Batman forces him to abide by his code. You can see some of his character is the Injustice animated movie.

For anyone who watches it, he self censored it. A lot of the scenes were cut up to be less violent. You are better off just watching the show, or watching the individual fight scenes on different youtube channels. Besides he doesn't even like the show.

Yes. I sanitized it to make it less grimdark and edgy. For example, Dick's needless dragging of a man's face along a brick wall, or the impalement of someone's groin with hedge trimmers.

Positively dreadful. I enjoyed some episodes of the show, even outright loved a few (Doom Patrol, Together, and Donna Troy, for example) but the majority of them were just an insult to the basics of storytelling and pacing.
