Batman is akin to Goku with the levelling up business. They should have brought Deathstroke back. I mean season 3 was alright but Scarecrow seemingly achieved more despite not even using fear gas. Anyone seen the old comics where Deathstroke was the protagonist and he actually saved people? There should be a series like that. Everytime he is the antagonist, he gets beaten up by the heroes despite them being mostly inferior to him. The guy can access 90% of his brain. Slade has far more than simply healing and and speed and strength. He could end Waller, the squad simply by using his mind. The animated Deathstroke film was closer to the original comics. The way Harley Quinn was in The Suicide Squad in the escape scene, that is how Deathstroke should be. Even Arkham Origins showed him in a better light. I just hate how they make him do stuff that only an amateur would do. He deserves more respect by the writers in comics and shows etc. They do it with Bane as well maaking him seem like a dumb brawler when he is intelligent.

Deathstroke in Titans was honestly my favorite adaptation of the character. There wasn’t anything really special but it’s the fact that unlike Arrow, you see the brutality of Slade here

To each their own, but Slade was pretty friggin' brutal in *Arrow* too... I loved how they spent the first season building him up in Lian Yu's flashbacks, so he wasn't a stranger like Merlyn was in the first (Malcolm was still a good Big Bad though). Then season 2 gave up present & past scenes at the same time to make the viewer understand what happened between him and Oliver, and we slowly figure out that Deathstroke is insane and having visions, plus paranoia from the mirakura. Great Big Bad, I was happy in season 6 when they brought him back for the small Jericho storyline; Deathstroke slaughtering the Jackals might have lacked in blood splatters, but it didn't lack in brutality. And that final shot of Slade walking toward the smoke, and the last we see of him is his silhouette in full armor...

He was really well done in the Titans show, liked him. Mild spoilers for anyone who hasn't finished Season 2 for whatever reason, but I don't like that kind of just...beat him and that's it at the end of the season. I feel a villain like Deathstroke is one that has a lot more staying power than that and they should've kept him around, harassing the team until at least the end of Season 3. Then you could've had a the double-threat of the Titans having to beat not only Red Hood, but Deathstroke too.

The problem is, you only have 1 Grayson and while I’d love to honestly give Nightwing the respect he deserves and have a huge hand in defeating them both, ehhhhh… DS was presented as a NW villain since he placed every bit of blame on him for the Jericho incident and, of course, Jason was definitely Grayson’s personal issue like Blackfire to Starfire… And with Superboy and Star and Black, I mean… Maybe with prep DS could handle them but technically Jason shouldn’t nor should Deathstroke… So it is perfect they honestly kept them apart. But that still would’ve been better than DS dying to something that should be completely nothing but a teeny wound for him.

Slade can think 9x faster than normal humans, has a healing factor (along with high grade armor that is hard to pierce) is a sharpshooter, a master swordsman, has supersoldier strength, and an expert in hand to hand combat.... logically, he should be able to take out Batman in a 1 on 1... and should be able to take out all of Batman's sidekicks (and former sidekicks) at their peak, at once.

I got my criticisms about this show, though for the most part i think - while not being great - is still an above average action tv show in general, (not just comic-book tv-show adaptations). And this season with Deathstroke was fuckin outstanding! They really did Slade justice, he was so badass, and though his armored suit and mask/helmet is certainly looks to be on the cheaper side, that said it's still leagues ahead of "Arrow's" version of Deathstroke. Then there's some really cool extras - like him actually using his power-staff, (though in comics i believe it was an energy weapon and not a gun), and his swords are far cooler and more undue looking than your run of the mill katana's that u see him using in both the aforementioned "Arrow" as well as a number of animated series/films. On top of all that, the actor playing him absolutely killed it. However there are two big criticisms of their Deathstroke: the first being the fact that, (just like in "Arrow"), the actors casted to play him aren't nearly as huge as Slade should have been. Slade is ripped while also being damn near a head taller than any he faces off against. Not that the two actors sucked, they both were great - just way too damn short. I mean, they're not even average in height, they both a little shorter than average for fuck's sake. Setting that nit-pick aside, the other criticism i have is far more important - and that's the way he was ultimately defeated. Firstly, it seemed as if he was severely nerfed or somethin, while also having both pretty poor choreography along with being terribly lit - ya couldn't see half of what was going on on the screen. It's almost as bad in the lighting department as the Black Noir vs the Female alley fight scene in "The Boys" season one, where you saw even less of what was fuckin happening.

I think the most important details to keep consistent with Deathstroke comes down to three things. First, he is next level intelligent. 170 is almost unmatched. Second, He loves not only his job, but the hunt. The enjoys the planning, the chess moves. Lastly, he's an asshole. He isnt kind to just about anyone. He is manipulative, aggressive and rarely holds his tongue to anyone. He is the best of the best and he owns that even in the worse ways. Also, they heavily underpower the guy in this show. In the comics and even animated shows, he often takes on multiple heroes simultaneously and has far better coordination on controlling the battlefield and not getting locked in a melee

The one mistake Robin made (besides fighting Deathstroke) was throwing the pyrotechnic in front of himself. They are thrown in front of enemies. Otherwise, great acting.

It's cool that he operate with pistol so tactical, but with his inhuman physicue it's just unnecesarry and looks somewhat weird. Same goes with 1v1 with nightwing, especially when Dick blocking his sword. With they weight class differences there is no way in hell nightwing or any unenhanced human can just outright block his strikes head on. It's as if you try to stop a moving car with your bare hands.
