Fangry and Sawback are porbably the first Titan Masters I would consider getting, Fangry is just awesome and do like Sawback, a sheild-mode is pretty cool and not something we have seen from the others or even at all in Transformers history. I like the idea of having a leader or voyager class figure wielding a titan master as both a shield and a gun.

Barl3000 not sure if you know this but saw back is actually an homage to the headmaster from g1 called Lione he was lion that was a headmaster he was exclusive to japan unfornuately

I'm pretty sure Sawback's vehicle mode is a hover cycle. Also, he's a renamed Lione, a member of a Japanese exclusive set of headmaster heads called the Master Warriors. Lione, instead of being a robot that turned into a head was a lion that turned into a head. That's why his accessory item turns into a lion, and why his head mode's crest is a lion face, and the sides of the head are lion arms - that's where his real head and arms went in head mode in the original figure. Shuffler, who's supposed to be in the next wave of Titan Masters I think, is from the same Japanese set of heads and was an elephant that turned into a head.

Balt the blue and white bot is supposed to be G1 Overkill, not Overlord or Overload. Overboard was his new name because "kill" is apparently not appropriate for kids' toys.

I guess those those weaponized "chairs" are meant to be hover vehiclesor gliders or something like that. And Overboard's actual name is Overkill not Overload. Overload has ever been an Autobot. At least since RotF and the new R.I.D. show. The Titanmaster could resemble Overlord, that's true. But I'm much more excited for Sky Shadow's remold into an actual Overlord.

Sawback is based on one of the Japanese headmaster partners. They had a slightly more involved transformation and that one had a lion mode and a head mode instead of a robot mode and a head mode.

Not sure if it's been said but when turning Sawback into vehicle mode push his tail down flipping up the back end then retracting the lion face further into the body and closing the tail gets him to sit flush on a flat surface.

I think Ptero is a flying chair and Sawbacks transformation into "chair" mode was not transformed correctly. The tail flips up and the head flips back into the body, etc etc

The dino-mode of Overboard/Overkill and Clobber/Grimlock are the best choice because they also had a dino mode in the Generation 1 toy line. But Crashbash / Squeezeplay is a stranger in his dinosaur mode. In the original Generation 1, its counterpart was a crab. Crashbash is portrayed as a dinosaur in the Titans Return toy line while Fangry, in the same toy line looks, like its Generation 1 variant in beast mode. Why don't they do the same mode with Crashbash / Squeezeplay?

I might have to pick up this wave minus sawback. Unfortunately I've never found any of these Titan masters in store; I've found some deluxes, voyagers, and leaders (even those were rare) but never any targetmasters. I haven't found a single Titan master in store. Either we're understocked here, I'm just plain unlucky, or people buy the whole shipment the first few days.

But I think Sawback (the bright "sun" colored lion) his alt mode is basically a flying motorcycle.... similar to Saints Row 3 Vtol like motorcycle named specter or ultor interceptor Men.... why in the name of Unicron doesnt Hasbro give the Titan masters some paint details? the Takara ones all have paint apps, is it that expensive to paint the Titan master? I tried to paint it myself with the finest tip markers and painters but it didn't work, if they won't paint the Titan master can someone at least show us how to do it ourselves and what tools we need?

Westley Cathcart um it does cost a lot for paint and takara puts a lot of paint because they charge you $40 for a legends class figure and a Titan master with no vehicle
