It's not that Sneed or Ridley are bums, it's that the titans decided to overpay a bunch of players that has everyone laughing....while still having no one legit to lead the team. Sneed had 1 great year, in a contract year, is older for his first contract and has serious injury concerns. While Ridley is extremely inconsistent. Glad sneed got his bag and it's even better that he went to a team with no chance to compete.

The downside of having killer drafts. Some of these guys are gonna be on other teams and we're going to have to trust Veach to prioritize the most essential among them.

He will be missed but not on the field. He’s replaceable. They said Marcus peters wasn’t, they said char wards wasn’t, yet they drafted sneed and mcduffie to replace those guys. They have good depth, they’ll be better off sending him away to get his bag instead of handicapping themselves trying to pay both sneed and cj.

The other half are pissed at the move. The 1% understand that there was zero way that the Chiefs could sign both Jones and Sneed. It was always going to be one or the other. The tag was nothing more than a chance to hedge their bets in case the Jones deal fell through, but it is what it is. Sneed is a dawg and will be missed in Chiefs Kingdom. He deserves the payday it is unfortunate that the salary cap is what it is. There are other team needs that the Chiefs have and couldn't afford to do with the tag cap hit or the cap hit for a long-term deal.

​@evansutton8102 Oh C'mon...he allowed you guys to play so much aggressive man coverage across the board. You're going to need to address the position and probably early on. "He won't be missed on the field." You didn't gave elite defenses when you got rid of Peters and Ward...and neither was as good as Sneed. Peters crested turnovers, but wasn't as good in coverage. There's no world in which this doesn't hurt you on the field.

As for the Chiefs they save 20 million in cap space. They were never going to keep Sneed due to the cap. Nahzee Johnson will replace Sneed for a little of nothing. That was the best market so they took it. Titans don't have a pass rush so the secondary will suffer some. The Chiefs secondary looked good because the Chiefs were 2nd in the NFL in sacks. That makes a big difference.
