Is it OK to go through a brushless car wash with a soft top Mini Cooper?

I would think it would be fine since this type of car wash would not be any different than driving in the rain, unless the wash using very high pressure water streams.

Question.... I have a 2017 MINI convertible with a top that looks like it's made of a different material than what I see on yours. Mine is more of a fuzzy type material that reminds me of felt. Do I use the same MINI cleaner etc that you're using? I can't get anyone at my local MINI dealership to answer the phone except the receptionist, so I'm completely stumped. All the how-to's etc online are for much older MINI's with different tops.

Hey Ella, I would go to the parts department of your dealer and ask for the factory authorized treatment they recommend. then you can use the same process I used to clean and treat the top. I would not be able to recommend the cleaner cause perhaps the tops are different from a 2011 then a 2017. The parts guys should be able to tell you and then just order what they recommend.

I would do it when water stops repelling from the top. I not sure what the manufacturer recommends. I try to do every year or two.
