When i came to overseas and started attending my church service newly i saw these white ppl giving small money for offering and some don't even give then i began to speak in my mind that even me who is poor I'm giving more money than these white people but as times went on i meant to understand that it's not about giving lot of money in the church they believe in going out to help the poor and the needy even myself they've been helping me a lot and since that time i realize that if i want to please God i should be helping the poor and the needy with all my heart and not giving huge sum on money in church or to pastor

My Sister you just made my day after I watched this video. To start with, I'm a Nigerian and now residing in the UK. All that you've mentioned on this video are nothing but the truth. I was once a member of one of the Nigerian church here in UK but left the church when is all about money money money. All they have is a business center not church. They always preaching about breakthrough but not salvation anymore . African pastors have manipulated bible sake of their belly and selfishness. A missionary that cannot build school or provide for the needy is not of God. You can imagine, some of the needy are every look and cover even closer to us seeking for help but people don't see them but they'll rather taken their money for pastors who never care for no one. I'll advice people to take their gifts to the needy by themselves instead some of those pastor who lies. By the way, we still have plenty Man of God but we need to watch out because if not, we might lost our faith in Christ.

Good article by Deola, I agree with most of her scriptural interpretation. My main concern is She took some scriptures out of context and seems to intertwine tithes and offering as the same thing(tithing is a doctrine, while offering is a form of free will giving). Mal 3 chapter has nothing to do with Christianity, it was addressed to the priests of isreal that stole tithes and the Matt 23:23 verse was directed to Jewish religious leaders, in which tithing was part of their doctrines, also no ties to Christianity. Overall it is a good article
