Ned wasn’t born until 92. He “grew up” in the oughts, not the nineties.

i support them but he says you can do things by theselves but then why are they in a mayor label with help of booking agency that not DIY sorry...
@cuzcuzcuzcuzcuzcuz9 жыл бұрын
+L ros They have a booking agent because booking shows takes a shitload of time, especially all over the world. He probably wants to spend that time on his other bands (where I'm sure he still books the shows) and his own label.
@ninjasdielast9 жыл бұрын
i understand that , buts that not DIY, plus when it comes to money its a big problem and more when other people are managing you
@fullmetalfunk9 жыл бұрын
+L ros I don't think he's claiming that they're DIY or saying "you should only go DIY, don't get into labels" just that "you can go the DIY route and have some success." Not everyone has the luxury or privilege of getting on a major label, luckily they do even though for a long time they weren't on one. Had they stayed completely DIY, we might not have gotten the music they've given us. Basically all he's saying is DIY is something that can work for some people, and in the internet age, you can get a lot out of that mentality.

Agreed. Don't limit your self on the reliance of a label or studio for progression within your band. Don't limit your self from outside sources as well. Do what works and what's best with the resources that are available. He sheds light on the (Big Break) mentality a lot of people have.
