"Title Screen" - Bowser's Inside Story 3DS (Fan Music)

Back to the new stuff. You'd think that since it's my Easter break that I'd actually have time to work on stuff, but I think I actually have less time than I did when the school term was a thing. Mind you, I'll be out of compulsory education by the end of June so I don't have to wait that long for some productivity lol.
This song is a pretty special one. Not only is it nostalgic beyond belief, but it was the first song I ever did a proper "remaster" of. Mind you, the "remaster" sounded awful in every way so we don't need to think about that.
Decided to keep in that synth at the start. It's the best part of the whole song so there's no way that I'm replacing it. I did replace it at first but it's just not as nostalgic without it ):

That's literally the only thing I was pissed about in the remake. I don't really mind a lot of the small stuff people complained about, but this in particular made my blood boil.

i've seen arguments that "oh the original was too sleepy and dreamy, sounds more like a lullaby. new song gets you pumped up." i have to disagree this song just screams different. the new one says, "alright, let's get this show on the road!" which isn't a bad thing don't get me wrong, but this old one here says, "get ready to embark on an adventure filled with wonder and magic." and no, i'm not one of the people who think the original game was superior in every way possible. i just think this is a much better title theme as a whole.

I love it. It mixes the crispness of the original style and adds reverb like in the newer style. The upgraded sounds are overall very nice as well.

I never really waited on the title screen that much, and I’m sure I’m not alone. This song is short and to the point, so listening to it for even 10 seconds gets the point across. I hadn’t finished the game until much later, and when I heard this in the credits, I burst out in nostalgic tears. This piece is so powerful.
