this music makes me feel so sad, I was so young without a care in the world, playing ocarina of time hours upon hours, getting lost in the game, spending hours trying to find the Hylian Loach, venturing through time endlessly trying to find the 100 skultulas without any of the game faqs...and then reality of life hit home, but I'll always have Hyrule..

This is another early transcription from my teens - when I first had my Ocarina of Time replica in 2006, I begged my brother to help me record an OoT mini-album in our parent's living room, and naturally, this was track 1. It's been so gratifying to go through that process again with my bro this year, and reflect not only on how amazing it is that we've been working together recording the harp for so long, but how much experience we've gained, too. I had the massive privilege of playing a brand new Ocarina of Time for this video, courtesy of Spencer's Ocarinas - you might notice the one in this video looks a little different to the one you might have seen in my Lost Woods video from a few years ago. I can't recommend Spencer highly enough if you are looking for an ocarina, I was very fond of my old one, but the tone and the tuning of the new one is just wonderful, it's been a joy to play and has made practising and re-learning the Title Theme even sweeter. Considering that I have NO training as a wind player, if I can make it sound ok, I would definitely recommend these to anyone who, like me, always wanted their own Ocarina of Time. Spencer makes Fairy Ocarinas too if you're a Kokiri, or a fan of forest-dwellers. www.spencersocarinas.com So, why am I uploading so many Zelda covers at the moment? Well, firstly it's because I like them(!), but there is another reason... and I'll tell you more about this very soon!

I agree with both of you- I was born in 2009, and am 13, and some of the things I grew up with: a cassette tape, those really bad ads, things like that make me feel old, but some things make me feel young. I’m kind of glad I was born then, but wish I’d been born earlier because I swear everything would’ve been better if I was. A better chance at earning money and getting a job, smaller food portions, plenty of things like that. I’ve recently been watching people play old Zelda games and listening to the songs like this and wishing I had been born earlier, though I’m older than most people in my grade(half of them are gen Alpha, which is born in 2010 up to now)

By far the best cover of this song, the harp gives such a unique and valuable timbre to the feel of this song, and the delay on the ocarina is a change that is faithful to the feeling the ocarina is trying to capture. The articulation is equally perfect
