All I want for Christmas is a Titleist 2W. Oh and Geaux Tigers!

I agree that if Titleist does release the 2W/mini-driver to retail, it would be in late 2025 to add some excitement to the GT lineup as it will be 1 year into the cycle. Similar to what Ping did with the G430 Max 10k driver this year.

I'm assuming it's a fairway adapter on these? Hope they release to the public...but make it a GT version. Maybe when they drop the GT1 later on like they usually do they'll have it ready.

TSi has a 13° 2 wood as well. Amazing club. Basically the same as the TM & Callaway mini driver. If you're looking for a Titleist mini driver I'd highly recommend the Tsi2 version. It's easy to control off the tee, easy to hit off the deck, and can be delofted down to 12.25° All a mini driver is, is a 2 wood, and I would trust this club off the deck more so than any TM or Callaway minidriver

From a loft standpoint, you're right, mini drivers are 2-woods. The real difference is the BRNR Mini, Callaway Mini and the Titleist TSR 2-wood have much, much deeper faces. Can you play those clubs from the turf, yes, but the TSR2+ and TSi clubs you are referring to have shallower faces. Plus, at 11.5 degrees, the mini drivers can still have a square face while delofting the face of a fairway wood is usually open it. That's fine, but if you want to hit a draw with a mini driver/fairway wood, most players would rather have it be square or a touch closed. Good point though ... - DD

@@DavidDusek just out of curiosity, which would be easier to hitting off the deck, the TSR mini driver or the 2 wood?

Taylormade mini can be turned down to 9.5 degree

Tsr2+ is a bigger fairway and interesting. It'd be real hard for me to switch my 3 wood till it breaks. I've basically played the same wood through several different generations as Tmag has some different shapes for the tour with more aggressive camber so you can hit down on it easier. I tested the 300 tmag mini and it almost made the bag, and I love the idea of more real estate but it's gotta be able to go through the turf. I was in 2016 m2 deep face til it cracked then m2 tour 2017, exactly the same shape just new astetic, then sim2 ti (cracked 3 of these) which I might argue is the best fw wood ever, but this stealth plus rocket at 12* is a flipping animal. If you need to hit it on a par 5 from 280, it's your huckle bearer.

The TSR 2-wood is larger in volume than the TSR2+. Front to back they are similar, but the face of the TSR 2-wood is much deeper. It is clearly meant to be played almost exclusively off the tee, while the TSR2+ has a lower profile that will make it easier to play off the turf. - DD

Great looking club. Have you heard or seen anything on the PXG “secret weapon” mini driver?

I've heard that PXG has one in the works. I'm going to Scottsdale next week for a PXG event, so I will have more to report soon. - DD

I still play my 975d so this whole idea of "mini" drivers is hilarious. Full circle, I guess.

I could play a full bag of titleist clubs. Not having the mini driver, is the only thing missing
