It means going to parties and picking fights with the drunkest guy there. Straight edge are pussies. Can tell you how many times those fake tough guys started shit at parties and got whipped by a dude who could barely stand. One time they showed up to a lake party and stole our keg tap, and I watched a guy drop 4 of em and made one beg for his mommy to save him. It was... uncomfortable to watch.

Just by how he tells the story, you know that at least 1/2 of it is made up. Guys who had been in such fights never advertise what they did like he does. The let speak their actions, they don't talk about it. Not saying that wrestlers can't fight fo real. Chris Jericho or Booker T are tough guys for real. But guess what? You barely hear them talk about the real fights they got involved in. It's other wrestlers or might tell you about it. And then you know it's legit and not just a story to make yourself look tough.

J. Brad I don’t, Teddy’s story was so inconsistent. First he said Punk shot for a double leg, implying Punk was facing forward. Then a second later, he said Punk was on his back. Also you gotta remember, Punk was fighting Professional Fighter’s in the UFC, dude’s who have 10+ years of training, not some smacked up pro wrestler. Jim Ross recently said Teddy was full of shit, and Punk won the fight. I’m gonna take Jim Ross’s word over Teddy Hart’s.

@Shendue 3 жыл бұрын
And why exactly shouldn't it? The algorithm is PRECISELY designed to show you videos that contain tags pertaining to topics that people are searching for, no matter the date. Which makes perfectly sense. Let's say a new Terminator movie comes out. People are more likely to want to watch old interviews and clips of Schwarzenegger. Punk comes back to wrestling after years, people are more likely to be interested in older CM Punk videos, which generates traffic. Good for KZbin and for the uploaders of those videos.

Kevin’s story makes me realise what a weird relationship fans had/have with Punk. It’s definitely akin to a parasocial relationship where we just think he’s shitty or great because of one-off stories. But Kevin’s story made it sound like the boring workplace dispute his ‘fight’ absolutely was; there was a miscommunication over a shirt, Punk got annoyed thinking he was being disrespectful, they cleared it up, and then they were fine.

I starred at him for a long time and whispered to my mom "that's cm punk" and she finally asked him to be sure and we were the only others in the waiting room. He said "well yes I am" and i went over to shake his hand and he was there with a hand injury and we still shook hands and he asked If I wanted his autograph & I said "well you have a hurt hand, it might hurt it worse" and he said "itll be okay it wont hurt much" I still have that autograph in a frame to this day with a picture of him, fucking legend.

Very polite? Do you even know the story? Offcourse he's polite when he was wrong.. ROH gave aj styles win over everyone including punk to make him first champ and face of company but he signed with TNA without roh knowing about it.. Roh fans back in the time called out aj a sellout and cm punk being punk said it to his face... So what's wrong about it? When you're in new company and they put everything on you, Atleast be respectful to put it back before leaving the company... AJ got hit with karma because TNA screwed him for others just like aj screwed TNA... Kevin Owens is the same guy who didn't want to change he's attitude or loose weight when Jim cornette told him so that he could be top guy of roh.. But was happily willing to do it when nxt knocked on his house door... AJ styles and Kevin owens are friends with young bucks and it says allot... People who blame punk needs to answer why tony khan has an NDA that stops people from talking about locker room incident... If punk was in wrong, there would be no NDA... AJ styles and Kevin owens after joining wwe have become professional but young bucks and elite haven't..

CM Punk is one of those wrestlers who is not always an arsehole but not always a friendly guy, and everyone's experiences with him are always very 50/50, you are either good friends with him or you hate his guts. It's understandable, he isn't there to make friends first of all, friends in the wrestling world are just a bonus, and the world of wrestling is a very selfish and heated world, you need a strong mindset for something like that

Teddy Hardy had huge opportunities that he completely wasted. He was the youngest person ever hired by WWE then he was fired for drug use. TNA had major plans for him then he got fired for starting a real fight with CM Punk that Sabu had to break up when they were at a dinner after a show. He was blackballed from ROH for doing flips after a match until he started throwing up in the ring and Samoa Joe was ready to kill him because Joe still had to wrestle. You can kinda hear in most of their voices, that they kinda respect him as the first guy from the indies to make it big. At the time of these recordings, AJ and Steen hadn't yet made it to the big time.

miah moe I don’t believe it, especially when Teddy’s story is so inconsistent. He went from “Punk shot for a double” (implying Punk was facing forward) to “Punk was on his back”, all within the same sentence. The dude’s a junkie who believes in his own hype.

"He was a good enough guy I guess, and we had some quality match ups". Sounds like AJ might have been annoyed with him at times with how prickly Phil was but kept it professional because it really wasn't anything major to be worth being upset over, and liked the work they could do together. Just the way I read his vibe though.
