I have some sentimental values with Titoni. My parents gifted each other Titoni watches in the early 80s, and I grew seeing them as promise pieces. As of today, those watches are still running strong.
@ColinRobinson923 жыл бұрын
That really is a gorgeous piece. Titoni is a brand most people don't think of too often, but probably should. It's over a century old now and offering this much at that price point will hopefully raise their profile.

Hey, everyone! Hope you enjoyed the video. Just want to clear up a few things concerning the T1O Movement. Titoni does claim they design and assemble this movement themselves, and I did not mean to imply that they do not. It clearly states they are not manufacturing the pieces for it though, that is contracted out. Either way, it is a watch that is under $2000 and is not using an off-the-shelf movement. In no way was I trying to downplay the T10 movement, if anything I applaud the fact they designed the movement and would love to see other brands do the same.

Thank for clearing this up.

Possibly an eta movement
@think-e2 жыл бұрын
No ETA, the movement was designed by Titoni itself. But they‘ve outsourced the production of the pieces to manfuctuer in switzerland because they are a tiny company with 50 employers. If you are speaking german there is a presentation video here on yt. Cheers from germany

A few years back, I had a Seascoper. I was in Argentina on business and I was offered $500 over what I paid. Titoni is very popular in South America. The only reason I flipped the watch is because I prefer a larger case. My Seascoper was 41mm. By the way, I did buy the watch based on your review and I concur, Titoni is a very good brand.
@pth88883 жыл бұрын
I think it is a very competitive price and nice dive watch. I do hope they come out with a 200m or 300m dive watch which hopefully reduces the case thickness down to 12-13mm. I think more people will find it more comfortable to wear daily.

Was really hoping to finally see a review of this watch . Knew of the brand but never saw anything that really stuck out till now and I've been making comments on other forums how great the watch looks and when I found out how much it was and what it offered at that price made it a more desirable option. And I think it stands out also in this segment of watches with the unique hands clasp and just really well designed .

Thanks very much for the excellent review. I purchased the new SeaScoper 600 in the two-tone yellow gold version and have been extremely pleased with the watch. I was looking for a quality built all-around "dress diver" and this one fills the bill perfectly with its 42mm case size and brush/satin finish gold center links. Also it is noteworthy that Mr. Roland G. Murphy of RGM Watches is the Official USA Service Center for Titoni watches. You would be hard pressed to find a better value in an all Swiss Made watch with an In-House Chronometer movement IMHO. Thanks again.

I mean by this definition, Rolex for most of it's history wouldn't be defined as having an in-house movement, arguably still doesn't. Most people don't realize it, but until 2004 Rolex movements were actually made by Aegler, under exclusive contract. Still are, but Rolex now owns the company. So if we're being fair, Rolex is no more in house than Hamilton, Tissot, or any other Swatch group company. Rolex bought Aegler, Swatch bought ETA. So if we're going to call Rolex in-house, all the Swatch group is too.
@watchreport2 жыл бұрын
I agree to a point, I was just trying to stress they call it a manufacture movement, and not an in-house movement as I think too many brands are fast and loose with that term.
@bayflowshow652 жыл бұрын
This is definitely a Tudor homage. The click is not as smooth on the bezel like the Tudor Black Bay Heritage. But it’s similar in the 60 clicks. I do love the meaty case. At this size, I really don’t need a display case back. But I can always appreciate one. I am in the market for a black dial and bezel Rolex homage. I think I found it in this Titoni 600. My wrist is around 7 1/2ish. So I can appreciate this type of watch. And every time I go to a Rolex AD, I’m always asking for the Sea-Dweller. I know that it’s going to be a long shot, so having a nice watch with some muscle in the Sea-scoper 600 is very welcome.

@watchreport6 күн бұрын
I prefer the 600 for a few reasons. The bezel having numbers all the way around instead of just the first 15, the case back showing the movement as the 300 has a solid case back with a mirror polished center that scratches if you breath on it and most importantly the movement, the 600 has their T10 manufacture movement, with a much higher power reserve. Now the price has gone up quite a bit since this review, but compared to the 300’s price I still would go for the 600.

Nice review. Now I'm curious about whether movement is made in Switzerland even though the T10 is considered a "Manufacture movement" according to their website ( Is an "in house movement" the same as "manufacture"? Movement aside, I agree that the SeaScoper offers lots of value. It looks like a more sophisticated watch than the Oris Aquis.
@watchreport Жыл бұрын
Manufacture movement and in house are terms that many are fast and loose with it. Without seeing emails, documents, financials etc, all I can go on is what Titoni has stated about it, and yes it’s a Swiss made movement, because the watch is marked Swiss made and the movement needs to be Swiss to get that designation. Now, when it comes to criteria on what constitutes Swiss Made, that’s a whole other story.
@newtonlee7849 Жыл бұрын
@@watchreport Last Comment: For the price of the watch, & a unique ( regardless of entirely made in house ) movement, no complaints!! Much more value compared to Swatch brands eg Hamilton, Longines, Rado, Certina, Mido, ... why buy cookie cutter watches all with ETA movements?

@dominicmartinez9153 жыл бұрын
Why wouldn't you be interested in a watch that has plastic parts in it? Any watch brand creating cases, dials, or other components (like the carbon movement bridges of the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Carbon Spider) out of reinforced composites are featuring plastic components. Are you saying that watch is cheap and no good???. But perhaps the best example of a high-end watch company seeing the benefit of plastics is Rolex. It is generally common knowledge that Rolex uses Teflon-coated (not solid Teflon, but coated metal) wheels in the automatic winding mechanisms, largely because Teflon (PTFE) has one of the lowest coefficient of frictions of any solid. This means that the mechanism is very low friction, yet strong, and requires no lubrication. Since automatic winding mechanisms are always moving but aren’t required to maintain the precision of a going train, this is the smartest place to use a plastic material. So are Rolex's cheap and no good???
