Hi Drew, Thanks for making the video about Clee Hill, myself and my wife Jan have been following your posts and we find them very entertaining and informative. A little known fact about Clee Hill is that the video game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that has a series of challenges for gamers on a Viking age is a digital version of Clee Hill. This has sold millions of copies and means it's known all over the world. Also St John's church in doddington are setting up a vistor centre about the history of Clee Hill.

Nice video. We had our lunch on Titterstone Chee while walking the Shropshire way in February 2002. The weather was cold, windy and raining. All the best, Peter.

Brown clee is a fantastic walk. Circle round to five springs instead of going up the forest path it’s a great route- . Happy to send a map if needed

Nice mooch about Titterstone Clee Hill Drew. Pity about the cloud cover but I can say on a clear day the view are brilliant. When you were by the trig point looking towards Brown Clee Hill that direction and to the left is Shropshire and the Long Mynd. Always stop there and make a coffee with my camp stove and take time out to look at the views. Wales is due West behind Ludlow. There is a path from the radar domes around the buildings which would bring you back to the road you came up from Cleehilll village. The domes are for air traffic control radar monitoring all the air traffic. The smaller one is a weather station I believe?

The buildings that you point to the top were secondary radar and were a back up, they were raytheon radar systems. They did want to make a museum there, but the power had been cut before a chance to save it. Did you find the ww2 mast base?

@@MidlandsOutdoors it’s communication equipment on the brown clee, see if you can find the old World War II planes that crashed into the hill. Brown clee was part of the Royal Observer core network up till the 1990’s
